“It's like building the TV serial on your own!”

This is like getting back to childhood. Although Simpsons is appealing to all ages, the game really makes you a kid. Getting control of all the characters as the levels change is another plus point. Plus you get to drive all those rides and the special unlockables. But nothing beats the sneaky comments from good ol' Homer! H-O-M-E-R the name is Homer! Recommended!

This game Simpsons hit and run is the coolest game I've ever seen. I've always wanted this game in my life. All the characters sound cool and all the missions are my favourite especially level 1.

“It's fun as it has free roaming”

It's fun as it has free roaming
And it even has really good driving etc.
All old PCs can run this game..
It tries to imitate GTA in a kid friendly version
People who have played GTA like me wouldn't like this game I feel.
It's rating by me is 7.8, therefore well recommend Simpsons: Hit And Run for the PC.

“Simpsons: Hit And Run - This game quite frankly is...”

    ★★★☆☆

Simpsons: Hit And Run - This game quite frankly is good if you have never gone on GTA before and if you are a great Simpsons fan.

I am a big Simpsons fan, but having seen GTA this game loses about half of its "funness" just because it tries to immitate GTA and fails, leaving a more calm and kid-friendly version of GTA in its wake.

The game's gameplay is an interesting one. You play as 5 characters. One after the other (in other words a level based game this is, where each character is a new level). This is a good method because it allows the player to continue playing untill the end of the story, unlike Simpsons road rage.

However, there are still great jokes left behind and a reasonable storyline so it's not such a bad game. After a while though, the jokes do get repeated and lose their funniness. Just a bit of a warning though and that is that the storyline is a little bit strange.

The tutorial though is good (and by-passable) and clever. It is Bart Simpson slagging off and taking the mick out of useless tutorials, while teaching you the tricks of the trade, which I thought was quite funny and certainly better than the traditional game tutorials.

"Simpsons Hit and Run" does have a multiplayer but you have to earn it through playing the game. This is certainly true in the PS2 version but I'm not sure about the PC. If this multiplayer thing on the PS2 for this game applies to the PC one too I warn you of a very long wait for the multiplayer.

So, to tie ends up. "Simpsons Hit and Run" is great for Simpsons' fans, but if you have seen and liked GTA before I wouldn't recommend this to you unless you're prepared for a medium-length game that is very likely to become dull quickly.

“The Simpsons Hit and Run is truly the best game EVER!...”

    ★★★★★

    written by zesja on 17/12/2003

The Simpsons Hit and Run is truly the best game EVER! As a big Simpsons fan myself, having a game that is so realistic to the cartoon is a wonderful experience not to be missed.

Every minute detail is taken care of and trademark locations, people and veichles that match upto certain episodes of the show are in there throughout.

Gameplay wise, the driving is top notch and the freedom you get to roam in between tasks is amazing.

Never a boring moment and its a game you won't mind playing over and over a game.

What more can I say? IT IS TRULY OUTSTANDING (GO BUY IT !)
