Good Points: Good handling, good brakes, decent power.
General comments: The Yamaha DT125 is learner friendly and perfect for preparing you for the next step up in bikes. The engine revs freely and has good power throughout the gears. The brakes have a nice feel and can bring you to a quick stop if needed too. The handling is good when on twisty roads.

I am quite a big person, about 16.5 stone, so needed a 125, whilst on my CBT, to get familiar to road riding in the UK. I couldn't have chosen a better bike. The DT 125 X has the height, power and stability for myself and to be honest, is one of the most impressive 125CC motorbikes I have ever ridden. I'm not mechanically efficient ...

The Yahama DT125X easy to modify (at least the old ones are) and improve with deep pipes and the servo and power valve to give that nice deep DT sound also good acceleration and alright top speed. Not the fastest bike on the market but probably one of the best value I have seen.
