I now use Parcel2Go as an alternative to sending parcels expensively via Royal Mail. Although I have had some issues with the cheaper couriers (myHermes), I have otherwise had no issues. The P2G team seemed quite personable and helpful when I needed them and the webchat feature is useful. Improvements could be made, but they aren't too bad considering. I am rating the service of Parcel2Go, rather than the courier companies they use... (I tried Collect+, UPS and myHermes).

“Great”

Used them a few times when I needed a parcel collected and once when I sent a parcel off myself. Only problem I had was with CityLink, where they didn't collect the parcel for 2 days. However parcel2go refunded the money I paid without any fuss, and customer service was very friendly and helpful. No complaints, will continue to use them.

This is a company with no regards for its clients, i do not understand how some people can be so naive to support a company such as parcel2go.com just because after 2 days of delay in pick up, they are happy with a refund.
please stop supporting bad services such as this, in UK.

“Parcel2go International to Canada”

I sent a large package to British Columbia using Parcel2go website. The chosen courier was Fedex. They arrived the next day and the package wad delivered 3 days later. Very happy.

Obviously you are 1 of the lucky ones and for sure many parcels are collected and delivered on time,I do not know what item you sent and if it was valuable, however before you use them again it may be worth your while checking to see if the item is insured in accordance with their policy, check out the link on their website, and unless it is clothing or soft furnishings you will not have cover. Just my advice, you do not have to take it.

“A good experience for a change”

I used Citylink the other day via Parcel2go with a bit of trepidation given some reviews of some of the carriers, plus previous experience of couriers in general (Citylink being one of them - the quickest knock and go in history), but I was pleasantly surprised this time. I didn't go for the rock bottom cheapest option which was Myhermes as I had heard such bad reviews, but with Citylink, and my experience was fairly painless. I used the next day service and didn't need to print out anything. The pick-up went smoothly with the courier bringing the necessary printouts for my seller who didn't have a printer at home. Delivery was indeed next day. Might have been nice to have an ETA listed when I looked at the tracking progress, as we had to be out during that day and were not sure when the courier would get to us, but that is probably my only gripe. Costwise, I'd have liked a couple of quid less, but it wasn't extortionate. I would use Parcel2go again, but I'd probably plan a little better and get hold of their Ebay discount first :)

“Good service, collection and delivery on time”

I used this company twice to send two large parcels to Greece. Both times my parcels were collected on the promised date by Parcelforce and were delivered within the estimated delivery time (3-5 working days). If I had sent it by Parcelforce myself I would have paid three times more so it was very good value. The only thing is that the tracking info on their website does not get updated very often. My relative confirmed that they received the parcel on Monday 21st but on the P2Go website still says that it is out for delivery (?). I also checked the Parcelforce website (track & trace) and it says the same (out for delivery). Strange... I see that there are a lot of bad reviews here about this company but I hadn't had any problems with them so far. On the contrary, I saved a lot of money by using them, the collection was always on the date they promised and parcels were delivered on time. Maybe I was just lucky...!

I've now used p2g several times over the years. Overall been good. I did have one issue earlier this year but it was resolved with great efficiency by George Iveson. Good prices and overall good service.

“Most reviews should be aimed at the courier companies...”

Most reviews should be aimed at the courier companies opposed to Parcels2Go. Parcels2Go just pull in all the information for the customer, they don't actually deliver the parcel. If a parcel is poorly packaged, thats the fault of the sender NOT the courier.
I like the service Parcels2go offer though I'm not a regular user to be absolutely fair and honest. However - talking of fair and honest - most of the complaints I've read on here are due to the courier company and not the web site who are pulling in the cheapest quotes from all the suppliers, on behalf of us.

18 succesfully delivered packages 99% on time collections and always within the specified delivery window, full credit to Parcels2Go and DHL and on the one occasion there was a problem it was DHL's fault but the package was still delivered

Absolutley nothing good about the company. The chatlineP2G is preworded-they just press a button for the answers most appropriate - which often don't correlate with the clients concerns.
Have lost parcels, parcels awaiting collection for 3 days, having been confirmed it will be collected 3 days ago. You RUSH to get your orders out for your clients, and this lousy ridiculous company lets you down entirely. NEVER EVER USE PARCELS2GO

Absolute BS review posted by P2G employee.
Note that trustpilot says P2G is 5 star lol .Numerous positive reviews posted every day and often wihtin a few minutes of each other. All like this one going on about how wonderful P2G web chat is.All as fake as this one too.
If you want to make a fair view of P2G use google.
P2G dont take calls. you can not telephone them . If you have a problem you must use their web chat .
