Booked and paid for a collection.. waited.. waited... waited tried to contact them using their webchat, which is the only way to contact them.. broken link on the webpage.. contacted Hermes (The chosen courier) over an hour waiting to be answered to be told they will not speak to the customer, only parcels2go... Firstly, when things go wrong, and they will, P2G are near impossible to contact. I have spent all morning trying to talk to them. There is no phone number, no email, and the only way to talk to them seems to be through Facebook live chat. But you will be cut off the live chat on several occasions. We had a parcel booked which was not collected three days in a row, despite us chasing each day to see why the collection hadn't been made. “Terrible Service.”

Sent a package to Malta via TNT weighing 5.5KG that cost £45.76. A few days after delivery parcel2go claim the package was in fact 97.75KG and want to charge me an extra £180.65. I contacted them explaining i would need a forklift truck to move such a massive weight. This unfortunately fell on deaf ears and i was basically told i was a liar. “Waist of time”

I was a first time user and I decided to give ago to Parcel2go as it offers more competitive prices than my regular carrier.To make the order online was easy.Clearly they are pretty good taking your money but the problem came afterwards.The driver didn't show up to collect the parcel.I tried to track him down but I couldn't have access to my account.Apparently I wasn't registered once I did my first order which is bizarre. “6 out of 6 parcels lost”

6 laptops were collected at the same time and scanned in. That was the last record of any of them. I have been going through the insurance procedure for the last week.4 were settled after a few days, the remainder are still being investigated 10 days later. I have given my bank details for a BAC's payment on the 4 settled claims 3 days ago. Still no insurance payment has been received. “Shocked by their incompetent customer service”

Am extremely disappointed by the way Parcel2Go staff have handled my enquiries regarding my parcel which THEY have lost. Each time I have contacted the "live" chat to find the whereabouts of my parcel, they have showed total disinterest in trying to track down my parcel. I felt I was being fobbed off with excuses and empty promises. the reason that this is being refused is because: 1. no evidence has been provided of the sizes. 2. the measurements I made at both locations are less than those quoted at the order. 3. the box was not refused by the collection driver. 4. the cardboard was purchased from a reputable company. 5. the cardboard purchased was of a smaller size than what was quoted to parcel2go. 6. the same cardboard had been used for a previous order and had encountered no problems… Read Full Review

I’m sorry to hear about your frustration with this extra charge. Unfortunately, these charges are beyond our control.

Because our couriers carry hundreds of thousands of parcels a day, there’s a very slim margin for error when it comes to declared parcel sizes. Couriers issue surcharges for under-declared parcels in order to compensate for the extra time it takes to process them.

If you feel you have grounds to dispute this charge, you can do so here.

To avoid these charges in future, we’d advise rounding up your parcel measurements when declaring the. This should compensate for discrepancies between your measurement and the courier’s.

“Next Day Delivery more like Next Week Delivery”

Paid for a Next Day delivery service and dropped my parcel off at an Inpost locker before 12.00 noon as advise but it was not picked up for another 24 hours or so. Two days on, I called Inpost to chase up and was told to search for UK Mail's phone number on the internet! I thought I was dealing with Parcel2go and Inpost. I filled out the parcel dimension forms as required for a golf club. 127X15x15 cm weight 1kg. They told me how much it would cost. I then sent the parcel and received a demand for extra postage payment stating I had filled out the parcel information incorrectly, 10x10x10 cm , weight 1kg . Who knows of a golf club with a length of 10cm !!!!!! Bloody idiots. Only way to contact them is through Facebook on live chat, phone numbers do not work. most dreadful courier comparison service ever, countless "live chats" over 14 days with Parcel to go and got nowhere, the courier was Hermes but they wouldn't talk to me because I was not a direct customer . “A waste of time - go straight to the courier.”

The service is absolutely awful, and merely acts as an obstacle between you and the courier. Paid a premium to send a parcel 24 hour delivery. A full 24 hours after estimated delivery date there is no sign of the parcel. Contacted this firm only to be told they need to contact the courier and need to wait up to two days for a response!
