In a nutshell. I had a parcel that was paid for tracked to a address. Turned out my parcel was left on a door step by the courier(?). Its now missing. I took thus up with a samatha on the live chat customer service to ask for help. She was very rude, unhelpful in ever possible way and, really, quite nasty. trust me do not go near them. I went to their site to book a parcel that I needed uplifted from my home.it was marked at £9.97 but i pain £13 to have it uplifted next day and delevered in two days. Three days later it was still sitting in my hall. “insurance is worthless”

  DO NOT buy their 'extra protection, it is absolutely worthless! Firstly if you go direct with a courier the £50 cover is a standard and will cost you no extra money secondly the list of prohibited/not eligible items goes forever and you can hardly find anything that is not on this LIST so in case of damage, you can forget about the payout thirdly - Parcel2Go will reject your claim but might offer a 'good will' settlement, I accepted the offer and... did not get the money anyway! … Read Full Review

“Parcels lost in transit, cumbersome claim process -...”

I used parcel2go for the first time in Jan15 and must say was extremely disappointed to say the least! I posted 2 parcels, followed all instructions and BOTH parcels were lost in transit. I couldn't raise the claim online so have to speak to someone which was not the easiest and I felt I was been accused on lying. I booked a parcel collection on line. I was asked the size and weight of the parcel and also the contents. Size and weight was given and the contents were described. I was then asked if I wanted to take out insurance. I agreed and took out their insurance and payment was made. The item was collected. I missed there courier who left no contact detail to arrange re-delivery for when I was in. Made no attempt to leave parcel with a neighbour. Spoke and wrote email to company asking if i could just collect from depot personally. like you would do with any other courier company. To be told they wouldn't deal with me as I was only the person receiving the item and not the sender. UK to Australia - p2go have lost a suitcase returned two boxes - mixed up the labels on all. The tracking stops in a midlands airport but they say they are delivered ! There is no contact number for these people just a web chat - how they are getting away with this i don't know. I didn't think it was possible for a company to behave so badly. My parcel is now over a month late and after checking in with them COUNTLESS times I am told to come back in 1-2 working days. They can't even confirm that it's been lost - they don't know where the parcel is, but it's not lost?? What sort of a company communicates with their couriers over EMAIL and what sort of a sham company does not have a phone number? I booked a parcel in through this company on a saturday to be collected on Tuesday. The parcel was collected on wednesday. Tracking service was useless, no contact method of use to me through their website, had to use facebook live chat. I had to contact the courier service that I had booked (streewise) who did not recognise 'parcel to go' and told me the parcel was booked in with them on Tuesday. I booked a parcel for collection, It was Marked FRAGILE all over the box. They Smashed the item, but still marked the item as delivered. I had to call the courier to find out what was going on and was told the item was too damaged to deliver. Could not call Parcel2Go as they have no phone number, had to write via "chat" to raise a claim, said it would be done in 2 days. I had same situation and sued them in the Small Claims Court. They settled in full!
Try doing this. Forget their restricted list, the took your item. They are in Breach of Contract and you need to claim damages under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982.
