    having read the reviews we decided to book on last minute deal to port el kantaoui... well it was an absolute disaster,firstly airport arrival was inhumane,2500 people arriving at same time, with no organisation,no air con, and a very dangerous situation with people collapsing around you,we had a police escort thro resort,armed police every 15 yards,hotel was very basic{faulty towers} staff very friendly if you were a "teenage female",food was same every day no variety and lukewarm if you were on late sitting,entertainment was poor,i could go on,the pool was good,weather fantastic and if your a tea- total sunworshipper then this is the place for you,as there is nothing to do outside the hotel,females are not safe unescorted in this resort.we were a couple on holiday,i just hope you think very carefully before booking......

    I went on my own to port el kantaoui but the staff could not do enough for me. The entertainment staff were wonderful with a full day of activities on offer. You must try the water aerobics, full on.The evening entertainment was second to none, especially the Changing Ladies, Drag Act with a difference. Iam going back again in October,that is the best recommendation I can say.

    winter long stay holidays , entertainment needs to be more varied, and suited to the age group. ie needs a good old sing song nights , when every one can join in , karioke nights could be improved by having a good person to conduct the night , and be able to sing when no one else gets up .more entertaiment during the day time if weather bad.

    Irish bar no English beer at all but good laugh one good waiter, smashing young lad very helpful. Too much hassle off locals would never go back. Golf residence hotel a nightmare, rooms a disgrace food and beer foul.

    The entertainers are really friendly and so is everyone at this amazing hotel. You cant find a better hotel in Tunisia. It is the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. It has no bad points. Amazing....

    The Golf Residence Hotel is 1 of the best hotels I have been to in Tunisia located in the heart of port el kantaoui. The rooms are very comftorble with air con. The reception is a nice place to sit in during the hottest time of the day (12am-3pm) the hotel offers a range of actives for either u or just to keep the kids occupied. E.g. aerobics, aqua aerobics, kids club, and of course the club dance. The animation team is amazing; in the evenings there is a variety of entertainment such as karaok ...

    Golf Residence Hotel is a beautiful hotel situated in a beautiful country. I have been to Port el Kantaoui on numerous occasions usually staying in the Sol el Mouradi another spectacular hotel. The Golf Residence is an approx 2 min walk to the marina where there is a selection of cafe's, restaurants and shops some on the sea front. Night clubs are a part of every hotel, although would not be as lively as some in Ireland. For larger night clubs you would need to travel to Sousse about 6 dinar ...
