Remo Enforcer 5 piece with symbols is a perfect set for beginners. It can be easily upgraded with a symbol pack. However once you become more advanced you'll start to want something with a better sound. The drums aren't bad with new heads put on them. I would suggest a Remo Penstripe kit of heads and some moon gel to make this a perfect and I do mean perfect beginners kit. (read more)
