everyone was recommending it everywhere so I tried, I must say to everyone- calm down! it is not that good at all! and there are better products out there!

Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion had a good tan but left a horrible after smell which made your clothes smell even after washing

The smell of this stuff is enough to put me off altogether. It also leaves terrible streaks and collects to areas like knees etc. I'm aways careful to exfoliate and moisturise everyday, so its not like I'm not doing it properly. Yuck!

Tried this product before, but made me itch then, so thought I would give it another go as its meant to be improved now. The lotion was nice and creamy with a not too bad smell. It took ages to dry and then I noticed that it had started to roll off of me in little bits when I touched it, don't know what that was all about, never had it before with any other products. Colour not too bad, but think I will stick with my Dove lotion for now.

I think it's just a little patchy and orange in places but maybe it's me applying it wrong, I am going to try and exfoliate then give it another go...

Its good value for money, but I have been applying this every other day now for a week, and to be honest its gone a bit streaky, I shower every day and take baths so this could be why, but it should be more durable really and not streaky, its good if your on a budget but I don't rate it very highly personally, its a shame because Johnsons is a fantastic brand.

Good tanning product. Worked well on my sensitive skin because of the body lotion component. But has the same nasty smell and requires the same care as any normal self tanning product. The colour came out very nicely on me though so I am happy to put up with the extra caution and I do prefer this to normal self tanning products.

Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion builds up a great tan gradually, according to the advert. Being terrified of the sheer idea of a "proper" fake tan, I went out and bought two bottles of the fair to medium type to add some colour to my pasty pins. The smell when it comes out of the bottle isn't too bad. A little goes a long way but it is very messy and disgustingly greasy. It also takes forever to dry, so be prepared to stand around feeling slimy and uncomfortable for at least twenty minutes. Also, as I mentioned above, you will start to "peel". It's not your skin, it's the product but it's gross and really annoying. If you leave the "peel" it will collect product around it and give you orange marks. On the upside though, the "gradual" colour change is pretty instant and it does give a lovely colour but subtle enough not to shock. To be honest, this is a product to be used with patience.

Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion is an ok product if you have the time to wait for it to dry, don't mind if your clothes some times get stains from it and can wait until a day after you shave and good at rubbing in the cream for a while. Johnson's Holiday Skin Body Lotion does state that it is a light tan and that is what you get, a light natural looking tan which is always better as dark fake tans look fake and horrible, like when using a sun bed after a while everyone can tell its fake, but with Johnson's Holiday Skin Body Lotion, it's light and builds up and look natural!
