    I carpoolto work with other people and this product made my skin really stink. Iv stopped using it and washed my trousers and skirt but I can still smell it on my clothes when iv worn them again. It is really foul and I definately wouldn't use it again. I would spray my perfume and this wouldn't even overide the smell. It reminds me of raw eggs and makes me feel sick. I had previously used it ages ago and didn't notice the smell was that bad back then.

    the new johnson's holiday skin smells strongly of playdough!
    i don't know if anyone else has noticed it, (is it just me?) also, the NEW holiday skin is not working at all. i used to see a change overnight but i've put the product on four times now and no result has come.. hmmm.

    I would have recommended this to a friend because it gives a nice even colour and I've never ever had it streak, and I'm not that careful about the application. I never used to particulary like the smell - it smells like most other fake tans - but I just bought 3 large bottles of it because it was on special on boots and it smells absolutely VILE! I can smell it now and hope that it fades before i go to bed... why oh why do manufacturers insist on changing things...? If it ain't broke Johnsons ...

    Really good value for money, you can often get 2 for the price of 1. Easy to apply, nice colour after a few applications. The smell is not pleasant though so I always apply this before I go to bed. Leaves skin a bit sticky, but feels very moisturising and doesn't dry out the skin.

    I'm afraid I couldn't get past the smell! If I put it on in the morning I shower before going out in the evening in the hope of disguising the lingering smell. I found the colour too mild as well.

    sorry but yes i did intially like your product however after using it for a week it has brought me out in a terrible red itchy spotty rash on my legs and arms which is really uncomfortable. i am obviously allergic to some product in the make up of the cream. sorry but i wont be using it again.

    Have used Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion before but this particular one has a very strong smell I would say of 'cooking fat'? Not very nice at all and this would put me off buying more. I wonder if anyone else has found this recently because having used the product for many months, it is the first time I have found it to have such an awful smell!

    I think its a great idea that johnsons holiday skin body lotion builds up colour slowly and with a slow build up you avoiding the chance of going orange which happened to me last time :S .. but johnsons holiday skin is a great natural tanner which makes a difference slowly so its not obvious and the colour turns out nice and natural. i think its a great purchase and was very pleased of the results. no more white legs! :D

    used this cream for years love it no streaks looks so natural friends can't believe its tanning cream
    would be soo pale without it
    will keep using Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion even when im and old wrinkly ha ha

    Johnsons Holiday Skin body lotion has the worst smell in the world, I nearly threw up. The smell was so bad, I needed to shower and scrub myself with 3 seperate types of soap and still could not get the lingering smell of old clay out of my nose.

    I have previously used Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion for about a year now, and have always been very pleased with it. However recently I have had to return the two bottles I bought on half price because if kept for too long the smell becomes absolutely awful, normally the product is great- if it smells really bad, it shouldn't. I'd advise anyone with this problem to approach the shop they bought it from for a refund.

    i love Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion, as im a red head and dont tan hardly at all, me boyfriend says i look like ive got caspers legs LOL so i love it it gives a girl confindence when going out.

    I was very disappointed with Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion. The smell was offensive, and it left a horrible residue on my skin. I had a shower, exfoliated and dried my skin, and applied some of the product to my arms, legs, chest area and waited for it to dry before dressing. It took a good half an hour to dry, and even after that, I had little brown splodges of leftover lotion all over my skin where it had just not absorbed.     Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion is an ok product. It helps us pasty white gals get some holiday skin colour, I use it in the gym after I have showered and if you apply it little-and-often, you may have better luck with the applicaton. Yes, I will buy it again.

    Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion is wonderful its a lovely colur, easy to apply, a nice gradual tan and it value for money. the only bad thing i would say if after few days the tan starts to collects around the hairs, but it isn't obvious,

    Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion is a smelly product, should go back to the old formula that was great.
