Bad Points: Color seems to get intense within 3-4 hours whilst the cream is on but seems to fade a little if the face is wiped / washed....
General comments: As a man I find the product easy to use. Only really use it on my face...mid life crisis. I find it does not smell but can leave the skin looking slightly oily. I have been using it for a while now and I have just bought a new bottle at £1.99! This new bottle seems to work a lot quicker and more effective than my last bottle. I presume that there may be a short shelf life to the product?
Still using it. It is a great cheap and quality product. I use the fair skin product and there is little to no smell whatsoever.

Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion was very easy to apply, smelt nicer than other products and gave a wonderful light tan overnight!
If you have pale skin this product is the one you should use, it doesn't turn your skin orange.

The effect of Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion is good if applied carefully although it tends to leave streaks around ankles areas. I find the smell is awful and if applied at night keeps me awake, rather like dead fish smell and very unpleasant.
I think there could be an improvement on the 'perfume' side of this lotion

I used Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion years ago and it smelt as bad as all the rest. I bought it recently - there seem to be loads of different types but they all seem to do the same thing. Anyway I had to wash it off after 20 mins because I thought I might be physically sick it smelt so bad - like old chip fat - very weird smell. I had to throw it away.

I am a new self-tanner, and I saw Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion on the shelves in a really nice presented bottle, and thought to myself, hey, why not, it was only £4.99. When I got home, I applied it on myself. When you apply this on I could see no colour. Around 3 hours later I started to see a nice, even colour developing. I applied this every other day, as to not get so tangoed. I strongly recommend this product, and will be buying more.

This tan ruined my holiday, i got a nice spray tan before i left and thought i would use this to top up my colour as my spray tan faded! I was left with large patches of orange streak all over my legs, i had to get my boyfriend to go out and look for something to scrub it off with, i was able to scrub off my spray tan but this stuff stayed put, even now 3 weeks later the marks can be slightly seen.

I liked this product... I think it smells nicer than the old one.
Hint: its a gradual tan...'Gradual' is the key word there.
Avoid streaks by applying it very gradually for best natural looking results and make sure you buy the correct type for your skin tone.

I like Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion and apply it daily. It's a great moisturiser but the tan doesn't go really dark even if you apply it daily, and I would expect it to go darker every time.

The smell of this stuff is enough to put me off altogether. It also leaves terrible streaks and collects to areas like knees etc. I'm aways careful to exfoliate and moisturise everyday, so its not like I'm not doing it properly. Yuck!

There is two different types of Johnsons Holiday Skin, they have different packaging too, my friend said hers smelt awful, but mines smells really nice, I'm guessing they both must smell differently. I just find it hard to apply without getting little streaks, it is good though :D

bit hit and miss- make my thighs and arms look lovely and brown, but my shins can go a bit patchy and i get a stripe just under my boobs sometimes. good colour i would say do it two nights in a row then leave it for two days that way you cover any patchiness, it doesnt go too dark or orangy and alternate it with a rich moisturiser to keep the colour good.

I used this product for the first time this year after previously using a similar product from Superdrug, and honestly it was a waste of my time, and caused me a lot of stress.
I followed all of the instructions and exfoliated well before and then applied the cream. I found that it took a long time to absorb into my skin and had a really awful smell to it. When i had felt it had all been absorbed i went to bed.
The next morning, my legs looked like they had been tangoed! It was awful. The tone ...

Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion builds a beautiful natural looking tan. And makes me feel good. But it's quite expensive and if you do not wash your hands after use it stains them. I find it very helpful it makes a lovely tan. I would buy it again.

This product is very good but the smell just brings it down. Bearing in mind I haven't used the new one.

I would say the only good point about this product is that it promotes moisturising your body, which I know I should do. Overall I would not recommend this product! I found the product did not have a very attractive smell, and it took me a while to see the results, and when I did it did just look like a fake tan and did not give my skin any radiance. Also having to do it everyday does not appeal to me.

I put the Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion on two times: I do not like the smell of it, the cream leaves like a small plastic spheres on the skin, moreover it peels off! I will not buy it any more and I will try to return it to the store!

Well I've applied Johnsons evenly over my arms and waited ages for it to dry and the day after it's obvious I've used fake tan. I've got patches and I am quite embarrassed to go in to work like this! Smells good though!

Good point, natural colour. Bad point, keep having to apply each day to maintain. Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion is excellent overall if willing to keep applying the lotion daily and moisturize the skin at the same time.
