Good Points: Fantastic bass response. Treble clean and precise, although tends to get slightly shrill after long periods of loud listening. Very clean mid-range sound and vocals. Screw down terminals on speaker and crossover saves on spade connectors.
Bad Points: One crossover blew, which MB Quart wanted £80 for a new one!!
General comments: I bought the MB Quart QM218.02CX in London in 1997 from a shop that was closing down, so they were ex-display. Was initially blown away by the clear vocals and clean top end sound. Bass and mid-range all good as well. Used them in front doors of my then car (a R19) and they absolutely ROCKED! Powered using an Alpine V12 MRVF300 - haven't experienced quite a sound since then, despite using high quality sources.
