“Fantastic support team 24/7”

Okay so Storm do not have a technical support phone line but with 24 hour ticket system with great knowledge and friendly support that gets your concerns and problems supported/solved quickly who cares. Sadly I had to use them recently when there was a error on my page which although was not down to them they still helped and worked through the night to get it resolved, not many UK people be putting their heart into helping someone at near 3am! Most of my tickets were answered by one or two advisers but they both knew what they were doing and seemed to communicate well with each other and myself. Overall I have been on a dedicated server with Storm Internet for coming upto 3 years and honestly have no major issues with them, downtime has been small, they always communicate with any updates or problems, Staff all friendly and generally a company who seems to care

I have been with Storminternet.co.uk for over 2 years now and kept meaning to write this review. After many problems and being let down by my previous provider I did my research to find a good solid company who could meet my needs. I choose SI as saw they had one a few awards and was impressed with the guy I spoke to on the phone, who was friendly, and not pushy!. The server transition was handled for me and I was impressed from the start. The support ticket system works, they have guys at their end that know their stuff and a big shout to one who has always been knowledgeable and friendly. I literally have had no big problems and am completely satisfied and in a stressful time for my business my website running has never been a worry. Thank you SI for your support

I tried several popular cloud hosting companies included the big popular names; but honestly their customer service left a lot to be desired and made me feel unimportant so made the decision to move. I had read about Storm Internet through the ISPAs seeing they had won some awards over the last few years so decided to give them a try. A great decision!! Storm team (Sales guy & Tech guy very friendly)have been very helpful and efficient making the transition run smoothly and I have been happy so far with actually not needing to make any further communication or complaints.

“Awful awful awful ”

Never before have I had such an experience of supposed support, again not in the uk! In trying to establish what the simplest of difficulties was when connecting to update did this get fouled up? Yes three times. Simply awful and dont care as they say they do. Enough said.

“useless customer service”

I received an email with the incorrect date for renewal so asked for clarification - there was no response. I then received another email about the domain registration being ended - it hasn't as I write this but they have closed my online account so I can do nothing useful with my site even although it is still online. These people almost seem to have gone out their way to be unhelpful...

I moved across to Storm Internet after speaking to a business associate about the experiences I was having with my current host. They came highly recommended and have to say not had any problems and am really pleased and not sure what peoples issues are, I have had few problems but their support has been fantastic with nothing being too much trouble, communication clear and friendly and all resolved quickly with constant updates and a big apology. 100 times better than who I was with before. Its like any service provider nothing can be guaranteed and issues happen its how its handled and the customer service you receive and Storm are great with both

“Great experience with server and customer service”

I have used another hosting company for 2 years but felt they had got abit cocky and their customer service had dropped and prices increased so decided to change. I was worried whether the grass would be greener and the swap would be easy but Storm Internet took my fears away. I did alot of research and was impressed by SI reviews, information on their website and communication so decided to go ahead even though there wasn't to be a financial saving for me. The process was easy, the staff answered all my questions in great time and very friendly. Its now been 9months and I literally have not experienced any down time or needed to get in touch and they are worth the money for piece of mind. The control panel is easy to use allowing me to add more products and renew easily, and I will be doing this and reccomending them

Although we have used the ticket and online chat system to resolve some issues and have always gotten a fast response, we like that we have a direct line to our account manager via a freephone, no premium numbers. This gives us confidence that should any problems arise we will get immediate action. This gives us a personal service which is lacking from other hosts. Storm have also helped us scale up our solution by adding more servers. Storms expertise made this a relatively pain free task by talking us through the different options available.

I found storm internet by doing a Google search for good UK web hosting companies and from my initial enquiry to getting set up and running I cannot praise them enough. They are quick to respond to any queries I have and their support team go above and beyond when I need to call upon them. I manage and maintain a few other companies websites, which I have since moved their hosting over to storm Internet due to their excellent service and price.

I have recently switched to Storm Internet after having many problems with our previous hosting provider. After initially speaking to customer service I was advised to have a free trial of their private cloud solution before committing to anything. I felt that they really got to know my business and what we needed and offered me the package that met our needs which certainly wasn't the most expensive. We have saved £480 a month on our hosting by switching from dedicated servers to their private cloud servers. It's such great value for money for the service we receive. Their support team have been excellent, they helped us to migrate our service over to them and their response time is one of the quickest I have experienced. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. I would certainly recommend them if you want to be with a hosting provider that you feel really cares about your business. Keep up the good work Storm Internet!

“Poor service, rude customer service, incompetent operators”

I first brought server space from Storm Internet 3 years ago on their shared hosting package. At first they were fantastic, really quick to respond to any issues and very knowledgeable and helpful, then about 2 years ago my server was 'upgraded'. They fumbled the upgrade so badly that 2 of my sites were down for days. From there it got worse. My sites were attacked by hackers and instead of helping Storm repeatedly suspended my account and insisted that I reinstall sites, when this didn't work they just suspended them again. Often my client's emails would be rejected from sites because they were blacklisted and Storm would refuse to pay to have the ip delisted even though it was shared hosting. Finally I lost 2 clients, one through their account being repeatedly suspended and the other because of problems with their emails. I would never recommend them to anyone and I advise web masters wanting a good service to look elsewhere.

Storm Internet in short have been a real pleasure to deal with. I looked to move to them 2 months ago as was having real trouble with my current provider. From the point of making my initial enquiry I found the staff there very helpful, understanding and knowledgeable. I was guided to the correct server for my requirements and not the most expensive as I had found with several other companies I also made enquiries with at the same time. On ordering everything was set up quickly and the support team even migrated my existing server content across over the weekend. Questions I had we're answered quickly and all issues resolved fast. I've been running for 2 months with them now and haven't even had a hiccup. A truly wonderful service and so far I cannot praise this company enough.

I have been with Storm Internet for 2 months now and find their service simply outstanding. I had researched several hosts (and have used many in the past) before moving and so far I have to say I am very pleased with my choice. The Storm team are extreamly helpful. I had many questions to ask in order to get my site transferred with as little disruption as possible, and no matter what I asked (nor what time I asked, one of my questions I asked at 01:00am!) the guys there always responded quickly and were always happy to help. My site has been running without a glitch now for just under 2 months. It also loads much faster which was a surprise bonus I was not expecting! Really pleased.

I’ve had a few difficult situations to deal with before and where my previous host has let me down, Storm has excelled in providing, what I would say, is one of the best levels of support in the industry! I’m aware that many support teams just work to fix a problem, Storm’s support team actually worked to fix the cause to make sure I didn’t experience any problems again. The level of support that I’ve been given has always surpassed my expectations and I would like to thank the advisor in particular who has always been great! I’m so glad that I chose Storm Internet and certainly couldn’t see myself using any other host now.

I had the responsibility of moving a client to Storm Internet from another provider, whom had cost my client a lot of money because of downtime that had been experienced coupled with poor customer support. I can say that my experience with Storm has been the complete opposite and since the first time I spoke to them, I knew I had made the right choice.
