    Good Points: Wide range of attractions, Good value admission


    Bad Points: Not as easy to find as other parks, watch out for school parties visiting the park.


    General comments: Cypress Gardens has something for pretty much all ages, except those that want world class rollercoasters. It has beautifully manicured flower and tropical gardens with beautiful walkways, it has a world famous ski-show, cowboy show, ice-skating show, a wide variety of restaurants and shops and plenty of rides. But probably what makes it different is that it has rides to cater for all ages, with several medium sized rollercoasters, dodgems, a carousel and a huge range of slides, roundabouts and other attractions. They are building a waterpark called Splash Island which is supposed to be opening this summer too. The best news though is the cost, just $34.95+tax per adult and $29.95+tax for children(under 10)/senior citizens and if you want you can get a second day free. Parking cost $7

    We found there were no virtually no queues for the rides, so you really get your money's worth, but all the rides are outdoors, so watch the sun and weather forecast.

    Cypress Gardens is located in Winter Haven which is south of Interstate-4 and west of Hwy. 27.
