Good Points: Belmont Villa is situated at the side of the Llangollen Canal in the beautiful village of Wrenbury nr Nantwich. The site is quiet, clean, well maintained with views of the surrounding countryside with fishing from the site itself. Within 200 yards of the site is the Dusty Miller resturaunt and pub, and just further on is the Cotton Arms. Both offering good quality meals and a friendly atmosphere. There is also a shop specialising in Canal Boat related gifts.
Bad Points: If your after a quiet break, Belmont Villa is just for you. If your after 24 hour partying, take aways and a swift pace of life, definately avoid.
General comments: Belmont Villa itself is not really geared towards Camping. It is more a peaceful, 'out of the way' caravan site. Electrical hook up is available but at some points you may be upto 50 metres clear of the point. Fresh water is available and Norman who owns the site is friendly and most helpful. The site is also allows pets. You can sit outside your caravan and watch the canal boats pass while listening too undisturbed silence only broken by the wildlife. A very short walk from the site is all the ammenities required for pleasant evening works or a meal, maybe just sitting by the canal sampling a pint of Robinsons best. The price per night is superb and I had a wondeful May bank holiday weekend. I wish I was back there now, but no doubt I'll return soon.
