I've just moneysupermarket for quite a few years now. It's easy to use and generally suggests good deals. It is a bit disappointing that some of the best insurance deals are no longer found on comparison sites but I like it as it's quick and reasures me I'm getting something like the best price without having to shop around a lot. I recently applied for a loan through Moneysupermarket.com as my credit rating isn't the best. They offered me a company called Aspire Money (lending broker) who could possibly help me. This was unsuccessful even though the gent stated I had been successfully accepted. Fair enough but then I received constant phone calls, many of which were hard to understand through poor english skills, and finally they put me through to Baynes and Ernst, a debt management company and not a lender. Now my... (read more)

So, I feel like I've been treated poorly and unfortunately the other lenders seem worse so I can't move lenders. I was contacted by Magnum Financial Solutions after putting a mortgage inquiry into Moneysupermarket. I wanted help to find a mortgage and didn't have time to trawl different mortgage companies at the time. However, after paying £250.00 up front for the service, they failed to find a suitable mortgage after 3 months! Trying to do some research on car insurance and thought I'd try money supermarket. The layout of the site was quite refreshing as it doesn't follow the standard layout of normal sites, however it was so difficult to fill in as I couldn't tap on the fields to enter any data. And because I couldn't fill in a particular field, the rest of the form didn't work as the information wasn't accurate. (read more)

I have saved money with MSM on most financial products. I got an RSA car insurance policy last year (E choice), a travel insurance policy with top dog, and a car rescue plan with rescue my car(.com). I also insured my rental property. I think I saved myself about £ 500.00 altogether. Enabling surfers to play Pac-Man itensad of actually initiating the search they showed up to complete? Taking a stroll through an episode of Burn Notice? Throwing internet on a magical Indian bus? All relatively normal things from one Google, Inc., but it seems that Larry Page's deadpan demeanor is actually covering up quite the character. During the outfit's recent attempt to outbid the likes of Apple, EMC, Ericsson, Microsoft, RIM and Sony for a sliver of Nortel's coveted wireless patent portfolio, Reuters is reporting that Google's plays were... less than conventional. Reportedly, the company bid $1,902,160,540 and $2,614,972,128, better known by mathematicians as Brun's constant and Meissel-Mertens constant, respectively. Funnier still, Google decided to offer $3.14159 billion (you know, pi) when the bidding reached $3 billion. One of the unnamed sources summed up the bizarreness quite well: "Google was bidding with numbers that were not even numbers. It became clear that they...

Hi,
I'm really sorry to hear you're having this problem, but I can assure you moneysupermarket.com does not sell data on to 3rd parties. We take data protection very seriously here and would never allow another company to treat our customers in this way.
You can give us a call on 0845 345 5708 and we will investigate this further.
Kind regards
Alex
