    Beware of price comparison sites - they like to give you the impression that they look at the whole of the market for you, but that's not the case. Direct Line and Aviva are not on MoneySupermarket and it turns out that Aviva are the cheapest for me.

    Totally unimpressed with MoneySupermarket - I feel like they got me in on a false premise...

    The money supermarket site design makes it very difficult to find what you're looking for and all the pop-up windows makes me think that they are obtaining information I would rather they didn't have. It's a very unfriendly and untrustworthy site. I certainly wouldn't buy anything from it or recommend it. -1 star if I could.

    moneysupermarket.com is the pits for car insurance comparisons. It was not until I had divulged all my personal details to 60 car insurers that I realised ALL the policies were very rock bottom basic.
    i won't be wasting any more time with moneysupermarket.com

    Money Supermarket quotes were accurate and helped me to bargain with my insurance company saving £400 per year on home and contents insurance

    I was looking for an alternative car insurance quote as I felt I was paying too much. I used money supermarket's service to compare quotes. The service was very easy to use and once I had entered all of my personal information a number of alternative quotes were displayed within a couple of minutes. Having selected a quote from an alternative provider I was able to click-through to their website, where the application details were already pre-populated from the data I had already input.     Money Supermarket is too long winded. Doeesnt cover enough companies in the market, so had do do separate search either by other comparison sites or direct. Far too many adverts/pop ups on webisite.

    Good info in the forum didn't get a cheap quote on my car insurance, I must be the 3% that didn't !!!

    I think the pop-ups are a pain.

    I Prefer Switchit4u.co.uk and confuzed.com for car insurance. Out of all the tv adverts, Moneysupermarkets is tops!!!

    With Money Supermarket there is plenty of choice on money matters but it didn't list all energy suppliers and the pop up's do my head in... Found www.switchit4u.co.uk lists all energy suppliers, got a much better deal...

    The process is a little complicated...but worth the wait...they saved me over 250 quid and I now have better cover. I tried other price comparison sites and Money Supermarket is the best I found.

    I needed to get a car insurance quote, as I felt that my previous insurer was not really giving me value for my 8 years NCB.
    Tried a couple of sites but they were not supplying a wide enough range of insurance companies, so, after seeing the TV advert, logged into MoneySupermarket.com.
    My initial response was of shock, when I saw the wide range of quotes, many of which were a 'lot cheaper' than my own 'reliable' provider.

    I used Money Supermarket to gain holiday money advice. I think I lost out on exchange rates by listening to them. The companies they list are well known companies. I found my local agent was giving better exchange rates than any of the companies listed on the money supermarket web site. However Money Supermarket said use plastic, only take a small amount of cash, so I did. I estimate I would have been almost £70 better off had I purchased from my local agent.

    Good comparisons. Have bought a few things via this website and was satisfied. Excellent energy comparisons and they give you 30 quid for just using them.
    Poor on financial advise as far as I am concerned. I was looking for the best child savings account and was told natwest and I went to natwest the interest rates that were advertised on the moneysupermarket website were not available as far as I am concerned? However I do recommend www.moneysupermarket.com

    This without doubt the best comparison site for money matters in my opinion. Yes some the quotes vary slightly, but that is because you only complete summary info when you search, which is better.
    I use it all the time and its saved a lot of time and money.

    While Moneysupermarket offer reasonable products - they do not seem to offer anything that is unique - why go to to their site when you can go direct? Also, as I said before, they have gone over the top with advertising on the site.

    Buying online is supposed to be easy and convenient but there is a huge amount of choice out there. I have found that with a bewildering array of credit card providers and an astounding number of UK based review sites the credit card market is no exception! This is why I like site like MoneySupermarket.com so much. They have an extensive online database of credit card providers (over 300 credit cards featured on the site) and a very handy online comparison tool.
