Great service, having slow speeds so called up and spoke to a very friendly guy. Ran through some checks and all ok with the line so he went through changing the wireless channel with me and it's worked! We were happy customers of BT infinity in our previous home, even though speeds were never even half of the '76mb' claimed - at least it was faster than ASDL2 and very solid, never going down once. We were nervous of Supanet as over the years friends have had various issues with them. But BT just couldn't deliver so out of desperation we went with them. Hi I am quite surprised that Supanet don't have a higher rating. Every time we have had an issue Supanet have been brilliant. “Shocking!!!!”

It's been nothing but a nightmare from start to finish! The Internet is so poor, to the point I loose service completely at least 3 days a month. The staff are soooo rude!!! They tie you into contracts you never agreed to, take large amounts of money out of your bank you didn't agree to and not give it back! I have also experienced this "company". Absolutely agree with all said here. By far the worst company i have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Bought myself out of a two year contract as i couldn`t take anymore of their rubbish service. I feel truly sorry for any person who gets involved with this company. Stay away they are an absolute nightmare.

“Worst Possible Service”

Been with them for several years but they made it so difficult to terminate contract, I foolishly stayed with them. The customer service is atrocious - it takes ages to get through to someone and when you do the staff are rude and ineffective. When I moved house they persuaded me to transfer the service to my new home only to discover they had deemed it an extension to the contact by 18 months! Signed up for fibre internet beginning of Jan this year and still not got it! They have taken £89 out of my bank and when I try and phone, can't get through to the billing dept. They said they would honour me 2 months free for messing me about and still took the money out of my bank! I tried to cancel the whole thing but they said they have changed my phone line and so I thought it would be too difficult changing it back. I signed up for a annual email-only account in 2009 for a one-off charge of £10.00. The service was pretty awful, I was advised by several people that their emails were not reaching me, so I gave them an address on another isp with no problems. I later checked through a credit-card bill and found they had been deducting a MONTHLY charge of £4.99 plus credit card fees. They helped themselves to £99 from my credit card for non return of a router they never supplied, eventually refunded. Take it up with the credit card issuer. Renewed my contract without my knowledge or consent, claiming confirmation was sent by mail, let's face it, why would any isp use the post when they have e-mail. This is a company that will extract money from you by any means possible.
I resorted to recording all calls I made to them.

“Promises, promises, promises.”

Have been with this shower for over 15 years & have never known the service to be as bad as it is now. I wait ages for them to answer the phone & can never speak to the person I had spoken to previously. Everyone makes promises but no action is taken. Had the misfortune to sign up for another 18 months with fibre broadband. Got something wrong at their end & I had download speed of 0.7! I took the precaution of recording all calls to Supanet after being conned into renewing a contract that didn't need renewing.
They will probably complain about this review in order to try and get it removed, don't let them pressurise you into removing it.

My friend aged 90 could not get through to anybody on the phone to cancel within the 14 day cooling off time plus they changed his phone number without asking i could not connect to the internet he has now after 3rd week managed to cancel and now has a bill for £200 so unprofessional hope he gets advice from his solicitor.

“Supanet - is also Tim Talk in new clothes”

Time Talk - This company is Supanet wrapped up in new clothes. Same service teams and answer machines as Supanet. I would guess that because Supanet is a poor ISP and has such a bad reputation they have had to make things appear all ok with this new company. I am contracted with Supanet and have such a poor download speed (0.70) unheard of really in this day and age. Traffic management still exists. Had exactly the same problems with this company. My speed was constant at 0.5 mbps. Absolutely ridiculous.Totally fed up with complaining to them.Left recently with three months of my two year contract left. Just couldnt stick it any longer. Had to pay an early cancellation fee and return my router (priceless). Then they tell me the router was not returned. Luckily i kept my proof of posting certificate which i attached to an e-mail and sent it to them. Have not heard anything since (two weeks ago). I have made several complaints to OFCOM about Supanet. All are still on file and i would not hesitate to activate them if they continue harassing me. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Problems from day one. Slow internet speeds. Promise there good as BT. Having problems with router. Try phoning them Took me half an hour to get through to them. Did 3 speed test and was shocked. To find out supanet was giving me the worst Internet ever! Cost me £240. “Unbelieveable... The worst service i have ever received”

From the moment we signed up it has been nothing but trouble. It took them 3 months to install which we paid at normal rate. The phone number changed all the time, then they never answer the phone. Would be on hold for hours... Then I waited 18 months with unsatisfactory internet. When I cancelled they still charged me £60 cancellation fee. I begrudgingly rang to pay the final amount and as soon as the payment went through they hung up!!!! Shocking shocking service. Stay well away!!!… Read Full Review

11 years i have been with supernate, every 18 months i had to negotiate a new deal, lazy i suppose but having terrible service this final year i decided to leave, .they already gave me broadband infinity fibre using bt line , so i left and went to bt, who informed me i did not need a migration code, as they were the ones providing so there would be no problem. supernate then charged me £35 for leaving, threatening legal action. their service and phone lines are terrible, don't bother with… Read Full Review

They tried the £35 charge on me too. I checked with OFCOM before i paid it and they told me it was not legal for companies to make this charge any longer. Complained to Supanet,and guess what,it was removed from my final bill.Worst company EVER. Stay away from them.

Supant are refusing to issue me a refund for the days they have charged me for when BT had taken over my account............

they charge a month in advance, BT took over 7 days after the bill run, i should be credited for 21 days line rental and BB service.

WORST COMPANY ive ever dealt with. they just take your money..........

I needed a new phone line and BB so googled BT and ended calling supernet and they said i could save money if i went with them, the deal seemed good and the sales bloke was helpful in explaining how to setup a new line with free calls and cheap BB £1.99 p/m for first 3 months.
