I decided to buy a couple different scents and chose this scent. Personally, i think it smells VERY cheap and like body odor. Every once in awhile, while i'm commuting on the bus into the city, I take a whiff of something so putrid it makes my nose curl. I now realize that god-awful scent is Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. I wore it to work today and it is all I smell. It is giving me the worst headache ever. If you want to pay for shipping, i will gladly give this bottle away. Its... (read more)

I love this perfume but am extrememly disappointed with the fact that I put it on and within 5 miuntes I can't smell it anymore. I thought I might just be use to it until I spoke to one of my coworkers and she said the same thing. I am very bummed. I am going to have to look for something else (read more)

The minute I smelt this perfume i feel in love with it! I love the fruity, sexy smell. I wear this perfume all the time and recieve complements regularly. I would definitely recomend this perfume. It is my favourite from the new D&G range and generally my favourite. After a while you can't smell it on yourself but i know that others can still smell it as i still recieve complements when i cannot smell it myself. It is quite expensive but definetly worth the money! (read more)

I've found that the Light Blue bottled in Italy lasts longer and smells different than that bottled in Germany. The Germany version has more chemicals listed and I think it makes is smell more like a man's fragrance.

Aphrodite and Venus are the same. Aphrodite is the Greek name, Venus is the Roman. But they both apply to the same godess.

Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue is definitely a perfume that smells very different on different people. I picked up a friend, and as she got in the car, she smelled so good that I asked her what she wore (Light Blue, of course), and went out and bought it the next day. What smelled unique and sexy on her smelled strongly of lemon cleaner and apples on me-- NOT what I was looking for. Even though this perfume displays the typical male freshness appeal it does it so in a very subtle way with a hint of floral scent to give it that feminine touch. The smell of Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue perfume is heavenly, and I receive compliments all the time regarding the smell.
I would like a gift set that includes shower gel, body lotion and the perfume.
It's one of the best perfume's I've purchased in the last 5 years. It's wonderful and heavenly scented.

I wore a sample of the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue perfume for my wedding (something blue). It is a light and easily wearable perfume. It is fruit-inspired, but not so sweet or strong that it will give you a headache. Somewhat similar in effect to So de la Renta, which is another favorite of mine. (read more)

I borrowed some Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue perfume from a friend for a night out on the town. Perhaps I was a little too liberal with my application (squirt on neck, squirt on wrists), but the next day I was horrified to see that I had two huge, zit-like things on my neck from where I had sprayed it. It feels somewhat oily in application.
The scent itself is fine; nothing to complain about, but I don't think it is particularly memorable. It makes me think of a (fairly innocent) 18 year old...

I think you're way off the mark here. I love Light Blue. Everywhere I go I have someone asking me what the perfume is I have on. Not to mention the men that love it. Its very memorable and like most scents stay in your mind, living a lasting impression not to mention the fact you will always be associated with your scent. I am blonde, however, Im not a teenager nor do I own a plaid skirt.

My mom used Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue for many years and we really love it's essence, last January we bought another 100M Bottle. We noticed that the essence didn't last long now, it only last almost an hour, we think that it was fake or expired. Where can I air my complaint about that?<br/><br/>

I found Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue perfume in an ad for one of the local department stores. Usually I throw these away after opening them because they are so strong. This one I opened, sniffed, and carried around with me all day. I rubbed a little on, and continued smelling it all night. I was obsessed with the fragrance. This has never happened to me before. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue - I love this fragrance, especially for the warmer months. It is cheerful without over doing it, while being simultaniously professional. I also like that it doesn't over-power the wearer. It is as sparkling and youthful as the name suggests. Perhaps this perfume was named "light blue" because it manages to capture the essence of the clear, cyan waters of the coast of Italy and Greece, where D&G infamously draw much of their inspiration.
