    Good Points: I've had this camera for 2 years and I love it.
    It's the 1st Fuji digital I've bought and I've tried to 'upgrade' it to the Fuji A303 and although that 1 has a zoom, it's not half as good as the A201.
    The pictures are crystal clear, it's better outdoors or in good light though than indoors or dark conditions.
    I'd highly recommend this camera to anyone.


    Bad Points: It's only a 2.0 megapixel camera, don't be fooled though, the pictures are amazing, but, the print outs aren't that great.
    You can't really print a big picture ( A4 ) for a frame as it looses quality, but overall...a fantastic easy to use camera.


    General comments: The Fuji Finepix A201 is an excellent Camera! what more can be said? (See Good Points.)

    I have shot pictures in every situation from wedding halls and evening outside shots to bright outside sunlight with this Fuji Finepix A201 Digital Camera and after a fast read through the owners manual learned how to compensate for different lighting situations. The problem with most folks who have difficulties that I have read in other reviews in this thread is they apparently haven't read the manual because it is pretty self explanatory.     Love the camera. Cheap. Pictures look awsome and its alot of fun. Cant seem to get night pictures to look that great.

    well it was christmas day & a got a 'FUJI A201'....it's exellent, apart from the batteries.....they drain fast!!

    I bought a Fuji Finepix A201 digital camera as a cheap entry to Digital Photography - mainly for taking pics of the kids.
    Disappointed, however, that when I used it for snaps in the evening or on a trip to the zoo, the pictures were next to useless. Either they were too dark or the subject was so far away it could not be seen.
    I have now decided to give the camera away to a relative and spend £300 on an Olympus C300z.

    This Fuji Finepix A201 digital camera was really growing on me during the first few days after purchase. After I got to grips with the menu system on the camera, which is frankly a mess and doesn't follow it's own rules, I was really feeling good about deciding this was the camera for me.     I originally had a goodmans 1308...took it back because it was rubbish. Spent an extra £50 and got the Fuji Finepix A201 digital camera. Best £50 I spent.

    I find that the picture quality is excellent, I have printed out a couple of pictures A4 size & the results were great.

    All I wanted was a camera which I could point & shoot...the A201 lets me do this. There are also a lot of other handy features which are there if you want them. The movie recording is quite fun as well.

    The Fuji Finepix A201 digital camera is the best I've seen in it's price range. Pictures are excellent and downloading so easy a monkey could do it. It's small enough to fit in even Britney Spears hipster pocket (as I wish!). The controls are a bit fiddley if you want to catch something different but for point & shoot it's the business. The 20s Video capture is cool if u are messing around outside, if not a little grainy but not bad, useless though unless you have good light. Cost a bit extra €3 ...

    The Fuji Finepix A201 is a smart, small digital camera with features that are usually on a more expensive camera. I purchased mine from Draco Computer Systems http://www.draco.co.uk or 01269 831711 ask for Derek my camera cost me £221 all in, but that included an 8MB Smartmedia card and a 64MB Smartmedia card

    I bought this Fuji Finepix A201 digital camera because I was after a simple digital 'snappy' that my wife could use too.
    I took it back after 24 hours. The flash bleaches everything in sight, especially on close ups. This is where the lack of zoom lens shows up.
    Battery life was poor, although to be fair this seems to be the case with all digital cameras.
    I can't really see the point in having movie modes but without sound - you might as well go back to cine films.

    The Fuji Finepix A201 digital camera is a good camera only for outdoor shooting as it lacks indoor capability. But it is quite handy as it fits in my pockets and video mode works fine only outdoors and if you are looking for a outdoor shooting camera this is it.     I like the size of the camera, as I want to carry it all the time. The fixed focal length of the lens has not been a problem for me- zooms need more light anyway.

    The image quality of some of the macro shots at 2 MP and normal compression is good enough to print A4, and you can get roughly 38 shots on the included 16MB card at that quality.
