Many things have happened whilst trading with city index. Glitches in their system at very important buying or selling times, high overnight finance charges with no account for them. Not paying money back after asking for a withdrawal of funds and having to phone again. I am trying to view their annual accounts it might explain things. How many customers have they got? Excellent customer service, I called the infoline, the agent had all the answers to my questions. I asked about many things concerning different financial instruments. They offer good conditions on indices, but also share trading is worth with City Index. The platform is very intuitive, easy to handle. You can find everything very fast. Call center agents speak different languages, so if you are lucky, the agent is able to speak in your native language, if you are eg. a foreigner. (read more)

the £200 'bonus' can't be withdrawn in cash if you 'win' it via 3 transactions, and it's merely a margin, say you lose £50 then margin shows a positive £150 - however they will ask you to pay up the £50! LOL, so it is not 'risk-free' bonus at all. (read more)

There`s no or very little review regarding actual trading experience with City Index. There`s Mr Sandy and his seminars and how wonderful he is. Wunderbar! Sooner or later he`ll reach Hollywood. I am not against seminars - I have attended few in the past and they have more psychological value than actual trading knowledge which is very important. Read books guys like `Visual Investor` by J.J. Murphy or `Bolinger on Bolinger Bands` by J. Bolinger himself. All best with handling the money... (read more)

I liked the information provided on the activities in Asian countries in terms of hunger to succeed. In addition, the Psychology of trading and to let go of any negative attachments.
