The AGS PCR 1 is light weight ,very quiet and not too expensive. I went to my local gun shop just before christmas looking for a new air rifle i have only just started out in the sport so am still learning the ropes the first time i went out with my gun i tried to zero the sights in and at 30yds the gun was everywhere i thought it was just me and out early on morning looking for rabbits i saw plenty but came away with nothing i carried on and out of 50 shots at rabbits i hit 3 with a clean head ...

The AGS PCR 1 air rifle is a great little gun and worth every single penny, great pcp. Its light, cheap and very accurate, when using the right pellets. Only bad point is that its a single shot.

When i first got the gun i couldn't wait to get out and get some bunny's .....which it did but. I have bin shooting for a few years and have a very good shot and have a great pair of scopes which when i look through i could see the pellets were going everywhere, not allways alot out but sometimes the pellets would go a ft under then a ft over ...so when that happens you then go though and try many type of pellets to see if that makes and differents and nope still does the same, some pellets bet ...

Brilliant gun. Had mine 2 weeks now replaced my BSA Superstar springer rifle. Fired about 100 shots through it. Combined with an AGS Scope, just had it recharged and I'm managing to get pellets through the same hole. Fired 5 pellets consistently through the same hole. Very pleased with the new rifle.

Picked mine up yesterday as i wanted a cheap pcp to plink with, keeps my others warm and dry ready to be used for hunting. i was really pleased with the fact i had zero'd the rifle in five shoots (15 meters) and was consistanly producing good groups with a range of pellets.
I have read the other reviews and disagree with the negative points, all i can say is perhaps we have gone back to the 70's and they might have picked up a friday afternoon special!
To anyone thinking of buying one, please re ...

A great first pre charge gun. Handling, triggar, sliencer, weight. The fact that its a single shot. it should a least be a two shot.

Not bragging I'm quite a good shot. So i left the spring guns behind to buy this. waste of time. If you want a accurate rifle follow me and buy a proper gun like a BSA. Leave this is the gunshop where it belongs as its to temperamental. Ive shot loads with this rifle but i could have had twenty times as much if the rifle didn't play up. Avoid at all costs you will only be disappointed.

I bought this gun as my intro into the world of pcp's i had it less than a day and i took it back to the shop and got a refund
Yes it looks nice and feels nice and light but its that underpowered I'd let my kids play with it i've seen water pistols with more grunt.
As for the accuracy every 40 shots or so one pellet will sail out the barrel and hit home right on the zero of the crosshair... sadly all the rabbit you were aiming at will do is twitch its ear as the shot bounces harmlessly off it ...

I got mine about 6 week ago now and I think its a good little gun to introduce you to precharge straight out the bag it was bang on. I've had no problems it's a good gun. Plenty of bunny's

This would make a good kiddies gun. If it kept working.
The gun arrived. I was pleased with the `feel` of it. Mounted the scope, screwed on the silencer (very quiet), charged it and went out back to zero the scope. Everything went well, except I realised from the timelapse between discharge and hitting target, this is not a `full power` rifle. In fact my chrono read 10.16ftlbs !!
As I`d fired over a dozen shots, I decided to recharge the air cylinder. Bu ...

I own for my sins a PCR 1 and what a waste of money . This rifle went faulty on the second charged and dicided to leek so sent back to ags for repaire now got the rifle back and went out bunny bashing! The bunnys was my freind, as there it was in my sights about 30 yrd. This ones in the bag, pulled the trigger and i could see the drop off through the scopes what the.....as you may now know i did not hit the bunny i would have stood a better chance throwing the dam thing at the bunny, not impress ...

I had been looking to make the move to a precharge air rifle for quite some time. I wanted the advantage of a bolt action rifle, and liked the fact that they where light weight. After a good look I finally settled on the AGS PCR 1. My first impressions of the rifle where good, it's light weight, compact design ment that it was good in the field and its basic but robust stock meant that it could take the rigors of hunting. After a full charge of gas I managed to sight it in about 15 mines and wa ...
