    Good Points: Worked ok for first 12 months.


    Bad Points: Started leaking at 12 months, so no longer covered by warranty.


    General comments: Russell Hobbs 10242 Kudos cost me £50, poor quality product, will purchase generic, cost effective product in future.

    We are on our 2nd replacement after having two faulty ones supplied. In both cases the kettles wouldnt reach boiling temperature and audible warning tone wouldnt switch off. Pretty pathetic ££45 for a kettle that doesnt boil.

    Very disappointed with this Russell Hobbs 10242 Kudos Kettle considering we have only had it for 12 months.

    It leaks from the base - pours badly, and collects lime-scale quickly.

    My Russell Hobbs 10242 Kudos broke after just 18 months! Very disappointing considering cost. Pours badly with spillage, tough to keep polished material 'gleaming'
    NOT RECOMMENDED.

    I intend to try another manufacturer.
