Made a booking on Holiday Autos, Called the Rental Car company to confirm the booking, Rental Car company had no record of the booking, Holiday Autos not able to reoffer same booking Waste of time

I booked a car through Holiday Autos who charged my card and issued a voucher. On presenting the voucher to the rental company they looked at it but still charged my card for a second time. I raised this with Holiday Autos via chat at the time who said at the end of the rental period it would be sorted. Nothing was ever sorted - I made a complaint but they refused to refund me the money - I asked for it to be escalated but still they refused. So the rental company has charged me and Holiday Autos has charged - both not willing to compromise. I blame Holiday Autos because they took the booking - they took my money and have refused to sort it. Awful experience with Holiday Autos - would never use them again and would caution others not to use this unreliable company. I feel like this is a sham many others may have fallen into.

Horrednous stay away. I booked a car to arrive at the desk to be told my car booked has been given away. I was late 1 hour due to the airline.... I am now being told I was a no show and cannot get the car for the 9 days booked or a refund. STAY AWAY. I now have to seek legal advice. I have never experienced such a terrible service. I am now without a car and 400 pounds down.. THIS IS A illegal - STAY AWAY

This group felt free to take our reservation money. Then, on site in Mexico refused to take payment using the card we reserved with and would only rent to us for 10x the quoted price. Absolute sham. Stay far away from then. While we were getting stranded in the office in Mexico there was another family of 3 having EXCACTLY the same experience at the same time. This is how they seem to make their money. Strong recommendation to stay awaty.

Rude team, charging for the air, asking deposit 2500€ + 400€ deposit for petrol. They charged us for 4 minutes late ( 40 euros ). Customer service super poor. Never ever again will rent there.

Do not use this company! Our fight was delayed and when we arrived our car was already gone. They didn't care why we were late and didn't refund our money back. We had to book another car at the airport for triple of the original price.

Do not use this company. Booked a car for 12 days but when tried to collect car 1 hour after original time due to fly delay, I was told by provider that my booking was cancelled. No response, nor support available and need to rent a car in other provider for triple of the original price.

Long wait to pick up and drop. cars are not checked as we had no AC. was told when returned that they do not check if ac is working. was told we could have come back and changed the car when we returned it. surly they should say to check at pickup.

If I could give this company a no star I would. This company is a complete sham and they will not give your money back no matter what. I booked a car online with them. I walked into Europcar and they told me this company has put a 100k liability on me and the insurance they were trying to charge me was horrendous. Europcar basically told me I also needed to obtain a letter from Holiday Autos to say I am covered. I did a live chat with an agent whilst there and requested they lower my liability and they refused. Further, they seemed very reluctant to give me a car because they said on their systems the name of the company wasn’t Holiday autos. It’s almost as they sold my reservation on to another third party? I ended up with no car and no refund. Because Holiday Autos wouldn’t help me with anything and told me to just file a complaint. It has been two weeks and they have constantly refused a refund and on top told me I was a no show at the car rental! Save yourself the headache and money rent with another place online.

I booked a car rental for ten days and paid the whole amount upfront. Unfortunately, the trip had to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances that arose just hours before our scheduled departure. As a result, I have never used the rented car. When I reached Holiday Autos to request a refund, they outright refused to reimburse any portion of the payment. I was shocked by their response, as it felt like they were essentially taking my money without providing the service I had paid for. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and referred to their actions as robbery, they had the audacity to place the blame on me for canceling the trip at the last minute.. I feel deeply offended and I will explore any legal measures against this untrustworthy company. I strongly advise to stay away from them.

After booking with Holiday Autos, I received emails from the rental car company instructing me to proceed with the 'Save time at pick-up' process, which involved validating my driver's license and selecting the desired car model. I completed these steps without encountering any issues. Upon my arrival in Las Vegas, however, I was informed that I was on a block list by SIXT, the rental car company. Unfortunately, the SIXT employee at the airport was unable to provide any explanation or assistance regarding the situation. They mentioned that even if I were to contact Customer Service, it would take at least 48 hours to resolve the issue according to their system protocol. Left with no other options, I had to book a car from a different company on the same day, which ended up costing me three times more than originally planned. I attempted to resolve the issue with Holiday Autos; however, they don't feel responsible for the unfavorable treatment I received from their partner company. Despite this, I am continuing to communicate with Holiday Autos via email in hopes of finding a resolution and recovering the additional expenses I incurred.

Purtroppo bruttissima esperienza, avevo prenotato una macchina online per lefkada in Grecia in questo sito, dopo aver letto tutti i regolamenti mi sono accorto che serviva per forza la carta di credito e io non avendola contatto il numero per l’assistenza clienti per capire come annullare la prenotazione, gli spiego la situazione e gli dico che avendo solo la carta di debito mi serviva cancellare la prenotazione per non perdere i soldi (visto che 10 giorni prima dell’arrivo potevo annullare gratuitamente) il ragazzo in chat mi rassicura invece di trovarmi lui una soluzione di una macchina una compagnia che avrebbe accettato anche la carta di debito, glielo richiedo diverse volte perché ormai avevo letto che accettavano solo carte di credito ma lui mi rassicura che ha trovato una compagnia che accettava le carte di debito….morale della favola? Arrivo lì in Grecia a lefkada il 28 giugno allo sportello hertz dove avrei dovuto ritirare la macchina e il ragazzo di hertz mi dice che non era possibile perché non sono in possesso di carta di credito… mi arrabbio contatto subito holiday auto che come unica soluzione mi da quella di eliminare la prenotazione e mi fa anche pagare la penale di 90 euro dopo che loro mi hanno illuso di poterla prendere la macchina e solo per quello non avevo annullato la prima prenotazione, inoltre sono passati 10 giorni e ancora non mi hanno inviato i soldi che mi spettano e se arriveranno mi arriveranno 90 euro in meno perché devo pagare la penale per un errore loro ASSURDO

A international gang specialized in financial tricks against customers and then disappearing. Holiday Autos facilitated a car rental for me with SurPrice Car Rental company for the amount of 319 euros and provided me with a contract which stated that they would block a security deposit of 1840 euros on my credit card. Upon arriving at the rental company on the designated day and time, Surprice demanded that I pay the 1840 euros, claiming they would refund it at the end of the rental period. Their reason was that my rental was for more than 28 days. Clearly, there is a huge difference between paying a deposit to be refunded later and simply blocking the amount to be used in case of any damages to the vehicle at the end of the rental. After many minutes of trying to contact Holiday, I finally spoke to an employee named Mai, who spoke to Surprice's representatives and they confirmed their "internal policies" were different from my contract. Holiday instructed me not to rent the car and to file a complaint, which would be reviewed within 20 business days, and they would refund my money. Two months passed and nothing was done. In an email correspondence, Holiday simply stated that they are still awaiting a response from Surprice, which means it will never happen. Today, I attempted to call Holiday but gave up after spending 50 minutes on hold listening to music and a recording. I will be forced to hire a lawyer and sue these companies, if they actually exist. Please, avoid them! Their way of making money is by deceiving you.

There is an outstanding payment owed to me by Holiday Autos, who have stopped responding to my attempts to contact them. It is recommended to avoid them, as they collaborate with car rental agencies who engage in unlawful activities. It seems that maintaining these relationships is more important to Holiday Autos than satisfying their customers. I rented a car in Panama City from Thrifty/Hertz (franchise), and the voucher stated that it was all-inclusive, under which covering insurance and road assistance. However, upon arriving to pick up the car, I was informed that the reservation had been cancelled. I had to pay the voucher amount to Thrifty, and they were supposed to sort it out with Holiday Autos for repayment. However, when I returned the car, nothing had been resolved. Much later, Holiday Autos admitted that they had wrongfully charged me, but only for the CDW at €195.00. They claimed that I had voluntarily chosen to add extra road assistance at €92,20 , which is not true, as I did not sign for any extras. Moreover, since it was already included in the voucher, why would I need to add it? There is no signed contract, and since then, Holiday Autos have been ignoring my attempts to contact them. I have all documented!

Worst company for customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Asked for a simple account change after a cancellation but was ignored for two weeks until the late. Stress!! AVIOD Holiday Autos

They charge a lot of fees. They charge for damage that already was in the car. Terrible experience. I must have rented with a big company, it would be cheaper at the end

I’m not one to complain but save yourself a pile of trouble and book with the car rental company directly, I had an issue and holiday autos offered me £25.77 refund totally insulting. I told them to hold on to the £25.77 and put it towards providing a better service for future customers. I also requested they don’t contact me again, I had used holiday autos several times but this time has totally finished me .

I've written countless emails, been on chats and filled out forms but to no avail. Holiday Autos attitude is that as the broker, its not their problem if the local car hire company (that they engaged) swindle you out of £43.49 for a roof rack which you never actually had. I have provided photographic evidence but it doesn't seem to count for anything. My advice is, stick to the big boys and deal direct.
