    Good Points: The good points to this hotel was the lovely pool area with the in water bar, the surrounding nature of the pool was lovely tropical trees and large rocks looked lovely, the rooms were also very nice and comfortable except the patio doors would not lock.


    Bad Points: The food to be honest was terrible, it all tasted the same, there was no variety and it didn't say what the food was so you had to guess and just try it.
    In the end we had to go to pizza hut, KFC and Macdonald's every night for dinner. The restaurant down near the beach often had some nice food. They gave away crusty bread and ice cream. there was only one meal me and my family ate well on the whole holiday which was a mushroom type curry but otherwise we couldn't really eat anything.


    General comments: This hotel is lovely in side and around the pool and beach but adventure outside the hotel and there are huge mud and rock piles and forgotten land. The staff were very friendly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking on taking children especially fussy eaters.

    Otherwise the hotel was nice but I wouldn't recommend it.

    Hurghada, Siva Grand Beach Hotel - We stayed in February 2004 for one week tacked onto the end of a Nile cruise. Weather was very good but very, very windy!! Impossible to venture out of the hotel unless you were very thick-skinned and deaf, as you are hounded constantly and very aggressively by shop owners/street hawkers. Most were ok with a polite but firm "no," however some weren't and were offensive. The rooms (we were in a bungalow) were very comfortable and air conditioned and the bathr ...

    Siva Grand Beach Hotel is an excellent value for money hotel. The food was great and there was something for everyone. The rooms were spotless and there was always lots of hot water. The service from the waiters and pool staff was good but tip them on your first day and you'll have drinks brought to you all day and night without asking and sunbeds allocated for you every day in your favourite spot(Heaven!!!). The entertainment team were so nice and friendly and finally, the weather at this time ...
