    Too comfortable headphones ;-)
Sennheiser HD 215 sound has low-quality when listening to music at TOO HIGH volume levels...
One of the best headphones in this price!

Sennheiser HD 215 - I was reading technical specs - frequency response starts from 12 Hz, in reality there's *less* bass than my old HD 457 with their 25 Hz starting range... I am so disappointed because HD 215 are kind of expensive and they are no way even close with basses as I expected they would be.

I don't even know how they write 12 Hz because all I hear is a bunch of 10 000+ Hz treble and no single bass. I keep using my scotch taped HD 457 right now...

Excellent fit, really good sound, well recommend the Sennheiser HD 215 headset. I was looking for some general headphones for gaming and found these, excellent! I have experienced no bad points about these headphones.

Well engineered Sennheiser and snug fit. Excellent for those who don't want other people to hear what you are listening to.

These headphones are described as "DJ headphones" and that describes their sounds perfectly. There is a lot of "smile" (the bass and treble are boosted) which sounds great when listening to electronic but it's not so great for other more subtle genres of music. Luckily this is easy to remedy with a bit of EQ. I personally like to boost the very deep bass (20-70hz) and the mid range between 500 and 4000 hz to give a more neutral but still impressive sounding track,I can recommend these to anyone ...

Basically, if you wanted a better pair of headphones, you'd be paying a lot more, maybe twice or three times as much as you would pay for the Sennheiser HD215 headphones.

Good quality, great sound, durable, good design but could be somewhat more comfortable. I find the left side pulls down a bit because of the cord, but that's about it. I bought these for a price/performance pair of cans to use with my digital drum kit, critical listening and leisure listening. They handle everything as I nee ...

You know when Jeremy Clarkson goes on about the Porsche Boxter? Basically, why buys one when you can have a 911?

Well the Sennheiser HD 215 headphones are in the same category. It's a case of German engineers 'detuning' something mind-numbingly good to fit into the 'mid-range' of the market.

I've been using them for a few weeks, and I have to say that they are excellent. I've had some Sennheiser headphones before just as back-ups for practice; they were the cheapie HD202's which have survi ...
