I do have a pair of Sennheiser HD 650 that i use with my home cinema system and i just love the quality of sound and the comfort, i also have a pair of Sennheiser HD 555 that i use with my computer and i love the quality/price ratio of both items. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends.

Having compared to a couple other cans I can honestly say the Sennheiser HD 650 are the best.
The have to be broken in for about 80-100 hrs before reaching their full potential, and a replacement cable (for instance the Zu Mobius) shocks even more. This cable was only for lending unfortunately (1 week that I begged and got prolonged to 1 month), and they cost almost as much as the cans themselves. If you can afford it I can only recommend this as well.

There are a few things you really have to know before you buy these phones.
Firstly they are the best headphone that money can buy.

Alexbarbelmaniaalex's Response to juda's Review

I found this review not helpful because...I doubt this guy has listened to enough high end headphones to make that statement. What the Sennheiser 650's do is inject artificial bass to soften the sound and suck the listener in. However on tracks that are already well endowed with bass we end up with a smear of mud that conceals the detail and ends up dull and unexciting and blurred. Don't get me wrong , the 650's do sound great on some tracks , just not all. If you want a clear , precise and more accurate rendition of what was laid down then look to the Grados or the AKG K 702. Sennheiser themselves admit that the 650's have been tweaked in order to have mass appeal. It probably has worked but as I say it can produce mud where there should be clarity.
