Crown parking also operates under stansteadmeetandgreetparking.co.uk do not use, they are very unprofessional. My car was returned to me covered in mud, damaged (dents and scratches) with 50+ miles on the clock (which they smarmily tell you is included in the T&Cs) -my own house is closer than a 50 mile round trip!! -The driver left the scene very fast after passing e my keys (they didn't even check ID on delivery of the car -i could have been anybody) -before even giving me the slightest chance of checking the vehicle. the 'manager' is extremely rude and intimidating. stanstead meet and greet parking review stanstead meet and greet valet parking stansteadmeetandgreetparking.co.uk DO NOT USE

Like most reviewers here I agree that Crown Parking are rude, money grabbers. We booked online but needed to cancel the day after. We tried phoning them as we wanted to cancel with a human being to make sure got our money back, but they are such a tinpot bunch that they didn't answer the phone in 7 days of trying. Eventually I left a message for them and they called me back. They said that they had phone problems which is why they weren't picking up. Even though they admitted they had phone problems they charged me 50% cancellation penalty instead of the 25% in their T&Cs which is for cancelling within 48 hrs. They were completely unwaivering when I pointed out that I had been trying for days to cancel. AVOID THESE PEOPLE. Oh and by the way Meteor parking are about £30 cheaper over a ten day period.

I made a same day booking for a five day period on their website. In error I put a start time of 1600 on the form. I noticed the mistake on the confirmation email and pointed out that I should have put 1700. They said that they had no slot at that time. As I could not make that time I cancelled. They refused to refund any money saying the terms and conditions allow them to keep all the money as the cancellation was within 48 hours of the booking. I argued that I had made a genuine mistake and noticed within 1/2 hour and the email confirmation advised that I had 24 hours grace to make corrections. This cut no ice and they refused a full or even partial refund despite phone calls and emails.
If you want better customer service go elsewhere. I certainly have.

My booking was cancelled and they informed me on e-mail which I did not see. I turned up at 4am and was told they could not help me. I had to park in short term or miss my flight and when I complained was told that they only need to give 12 hours notice.

I think that they won't stay in business if they can't park a car without leaving it unable to re-start, or communicate adequately with customers. Try NCP.

Crown Parking is a poor outfit, I will eat my hat if they are still in operation in a years time. No customer service, very rude, they put a real downer on the whole holiday. I don't expect to have to come back to this kind of treatment after a relaxing week away. The woman who spoke to me was very discourteous, all I wanted was my car so I could get home?

There are plenty of better valet parkers than Stansted Crown Parking. BSFC and Easy Park and Go are two we have used with better service.
We booked valet parking with Crown. When we returned at 12 midnight they did not answer the phone and it went to the answer phone. e continued trying for an hour, but there was no reply or response to messages. No car, no back up number. Please note they have our contact details and mobile number. They claimed it was an inexplicable phone line problem. We caught a Taxi home at our cost of £50, and we only managed to contact them at around 7.00am. They delivered the car home, but not until 11.00am, so I could not use it for work that day.
We made a reasonable request for a refund and our taxi fare. Response - silence. Note: There was no address on the web site, only phone numbers. Despite 2 weeks and several emails - silence.
I suspect they have over-stretched themselves, and they can be cheaper on short periods, but they are poor value in terms of reliability, and they have the worst customer service I have experienced.

Unfortunately, the Stansted Crown airport parking website does not allow you to check the price of the booking before they take the payment, which had increased by the time the payment was processed.
Secondly, as our flight was diverted to Gatwick and we needed to change our collection times, I called to advise them, and was offered a slot to pick up the car the next day which I took.
On arrival at the airport I called as instructed, and I was told there was no booking; it wasn't even in the book, and that I should have phoned to confirm, even though I had only booked it 10 hours earlier. The girl was very rude and actually told me I was a liar. She believed her member of staff over me. I asked who she was and she said she was the owner of the business. I suggested (as I had driven 50 miles) that I pick up the car from their compound, but she said no way. I had no choice if I wanted the car back, to wait for 5 and a half hours. Under no circumstances would I ever use this company again.
