    Food was very good, but was ruined by the negative and unpleasant attitude of the staff. I was afraid to ask for service. The Rooms have that funky smell of OLD furniture and overused bedding. The spa made me want to run out of that place, not inviting at all.
    The staff wouldn't smile, be courteous nor go out of their way to provide you with the service they advertise. Its a shame, because the place has a lot of potential, but I definitely regret the time and money spent there. I will never go back to this place. Sad

    We went to the Martino Hotel as part of our honeymoon which we booked throught www.costaricaholiday.co.uk. This was the first stop for us and a welcome stop it was. The views of the Central Valley were outstanding and the food in the restaurant was great. The pool was huge and the spa was massive. We did not stay long enough to try the spa packages but they looked great. The rooms were nice however did need some updating.
