Good Points: Not only does it have a in depth tv guide on it it also has games u can play on the box as well which is slightly addictive hen u got a few minutes spare from the tv guide or gamin consoles, also i found more channels with it then my last one with the same areal setup...
Bad Points: Sometimes i would say once a month if it all the screen freezes on the menu just turn it of then on again and its good to go again like i said once a month or so hardly ever notice it really.
General comments: I have had one for around a year now had no problems with it at all if u don't want a digital free Veiw recorder then i would recommend this machine.

This Freeview box is a little more expensive than some of its competitors, but I think it's quality and reliability justifies its price.

I'm very disappointed in the Humax F2-FOX, because John Lewis highly recommended it. I expected it to last more than 2 years as I have no intention of buying a digital TV yet as the Loewe is such a delight, though rather large.
Because of the attitude of the helpline staff I would not consider buying another Humax product.
I still watch most of my TV on analogue. The picture's not so good but it's much easier to change programmes, look at Ceefax etc.

There is a need to reset the Humax F2-FOX freevew box every two to three days, as it freezes up, making it impossible to change programs. Sound is also lost, and again can only be regained by a reboot.
Picture and sound break up on low signal quality, whereas a second and older Philips box will retain both picture and sound.
Customer Service is a joke, emails are not answered.

Humax is a very large company. Their website states that they pride themselves on customer relations. My experience is to the contrary.
This fault is irritating and Humax have done themselves no favours by ignoring the fault.

Bought this Humax F2-FOX freeview box on a recommendation from a friend and highly delighted with the results. So easy to set up and programme info very good. Well pleased.
