I am looking for a replacement for my Moulinex BKA14A Juicemaster Junior Juice Extractor , but don't know what to go for next.It was very good to start with but after a few months of daily use juice started going into the centre spindle and now I am getting horrible dark bits in my juice which seem to be the residue that has been collecting. Yuk. I have a pint of juice every morning and do not wish to forgo this now I am hooked.
Since I have been juicing I have felt healthier, lost weight and my skin has improved, so you can see why I am hooked.

The motor slows with vegetables as it blocks and stalls. Juice gets into the motor area which comes up weeks later and mixes with the juice.
Overall a very badly designed unit, with extreme health hazards and a waste of good vegetables.

I found this juicer to be excellent after using a cheaper model, and for the extra money thought this was well worth it as a starter, to find out whether or not you are going to 'juice for life'. It is a bit fiddly to clean, and after a while becomes very stained, and as other reviewers have mentioned, it is difficult to get some parts clean. But, overall, I thought it was well worth the money, because it is at the cheaper end of the products on the market, and gives you a good deal of juice ( ...

Moulinex BKA14A Juicemaster Junior Juice Extractor - I sent this off to Moulinex for testing - the test results came back conclusive to user error. Reassuring to know that if you use it as it was designed to be used you might get an electric shock.

Moulinex BKA14A Juicemaster Junior Juice Extractor - I am one of 3 friends who brought this product at an exhibition. Each of ours has broken down, burnt or stopped working. Moulinex refuses refunds and will only let you get a repair. That takes ages and then comes back as it was but cleaner!
You can't juice each day or Moulinex say you over use it! Spend more money and save yourself the hassle. Besides, juice gets trapped in working and ends up spitting out rusty liquid into your drink anyway! ...

Where juice overflows in to the centre it is impossible to clean out and a potential health hazard if this goes mouldy. Easy to use, not so easy to clean. Retailer replaced first unit without quibble and likewise refunded money on second after cleaning problems from internal spillage.
