i have used a few different bread makers this year such as morphy richards, russel hobbs, hinari and so far this Kenwood BM200 Compact has been the best so far. the instructions are accurate and the machine is sooo easy to use. i recomend this to any 1 wanting to start making there own bread. i know it may seem a bit pricy compared to some of the competitors but trust me its worth every penny. solid gold

First trials with the Kenwood BM200 Compact breadmaker were a disaster, but I slowly got used to bending the recipes to get good results.

However, after two years things began going wrong. Firstly, the machine would knead the dough and then reset itself before cooking; sometimes, but not all the time. It had a mind of its own. Then it started cooking it without mixing or proving it first. What a mess!

Kenwood do not consider it their problem. Basically, the company line is "we guarantee it ...

I've owned my Kenwood BM200 Compact Breadmaker for almost 2 years now, having been given it by my mother-in-law as a wedding present. It is very easy to use, but can be a bit noisy during the kneading cycle, and the kneading paddle sometimes sticks to the pan.

Have owned this Kenwood BM200 Compact breadmaker for almost a year and it has baked nearly 200 loaves so far. It has proved childishly simple to use and 100% reliable. I almost always use the same program and am not at all adventurous - a master breadmaker might have a different opinion!! - But for me it has done, and continues to do, everything I want of it.

I have given it 10 stars for service & support because I had to choose something - but it hasn't needed any.

I got my Kenwood BM200 Compact a month ago and baked some 10 loaves so far. Problem is that with one hour setting the bread does not rise properly and comes out slightly under done. With the longer cycles, the time allowed for bread rising is too long and the top part just collapses. There is no way way of intervening and changing the settings. All it needs is to be able to manually set the timing and alter the length for each part of the cycle.
