Overall, I am pleased with the Sony DVP S560D DVD player. I had hoped it would last longer, but I suppose, as they say, good things don't last forever. Problem I am facing is the DVP S560 supported Dolby 5.1. All speaker cables were fed into the ports in the back of the unit. I noticed many of the newer systems rely on a simulated surround. Now what do I do? I have $2000 invested in Boston Acoustics audio. It seems a waste not to be able to use it. I can use a little advice. Anyone?

This is for everyone with the "no disc" error. Go to audioreview.com and find your model of DVD player. There is a post on that message board that gives the cure for the notorious "no disc" error. I am going to try it later today, but I am confident it will work based on the response the post is getting. Good luck.
