pretty good gun, relatively powerful easy to reload. The Crosman Remington Genesis 1000 is not very accurate to much clunk in recoil

I got the pellet gun from the bass pro online shop and when it arrived it was in perfect health. I first started plonking away without the scope and after eight shots trying to sight it in i saw a squirrel and knocked it out of a tree at 45 yards. Little did i know that those results wouldn't continue into the future.
Surprised by the success though i put on the scope right away. Then i learned the scope sucked. It must have been shifted after every shot with the one piece mount so i took it o ...

I shot this thing for 2 hours straight with a friend. Now getting pretty good, and on our second day of a 2 hour session, we were hitting 1 inch targets off hand 20 meters away.
The one thing to get use to is the trigger pull, at first it might seem a little more tough then usual and can throw off your accuracy a tiny bit. But after a good 15 minutes you won't even notice.

Crosman Remington Genesis 1000 - I quite like this rifle and maybe it's the feel of the thing - However, I had to raise the rear mount with a plastic pad to get the rifle to come on target. Also, the front pivit screw comes loose and just when you think you are getting somewhere shots drop. I have now glued the screw so I hope this will be cured. It is just about worth the money - it has been an experience shooting this weapon and after reading the reviews I am hopeful that the recoil will settl ...

I ordered this Crosman Remington Genesis 1000 pellet gun right from Bass Pro and it came to my house in five days. I've only had the pellet rifle for a day but I am very impressed so far. Out of the box I was able to shoot 2.5" groups at 40 yards, after zeroing the pellet gun in after only twenty shots. This was the first time I had ever used a break barrel so I was very impressed. Although many say you need a break-in period to become very accurate, the gun shot very well.
Only an hour la ...

I didn't expect this Crosman Remington Genesis 1000 to be a Beeman, and it isn't. The stock is tough and functional and the recoil shoulder pad is soft enough to be functional also. The exterior of the barrel finish is as bad as the worst I've ever seen on a firearm of any sort. The bore, however, is excellent. Cocking effort is a bit stiff at the end of the stroke, but it does result in good velocity. The 3-9x40 scope that came with it is pretty good, though sharp focus at maximum magnific ...

I recieved my Remington Genesis about a month ago. Upon unwrapping the rifle I noticed that this was a very nice piece for the price I paid. As well as recieving a Scoped Rifle case, Adjustable Objective Mil-Dot Scope & One Piece Scope Mount with integrated stop all for $209 shipped from Pyramid Air.
I first shot the rifle at 10m with open sights. After the first shot I noticed that this rifle was quite loud & has an excessive spring Twang. But none the less, it's a pretty accurate 10m ri ...

This review has velocity results:
When I first opened my Crosman Remington Genesis 1000 I was pleasantly satisfied to find everything intact and no shipping damages. Pyramyd Air double bubble wrapped my 4 tins of RWS Superdomes. When I opened the rifle box to my delight the rifle was neatly zipped up in the soft case.
When I picked the gun up it threw me for another loop. From looking at the pictures on the web you might expect the gun to be cheapy or light weight. However when picking this ri ...

The Crosman Remington Genesis 1000 is a good gun with a terrible scope. I like everything a lot but I am having no luck getting my scope set. It is very inconsistent. I can be two inches high of my target one shot, and two inches low the next. is anyone else having this same problem?

In my opinion the Crosman Remington Genesis 1000 is a great gun. Excellent for small pests (squrrles, birds, racoons) Make sure to oil it well with WD-40, also hold gun tight to shoulder to avoid vibration. Overall great buy!

Well over the past 2 days I tried to sight the scope on my
Crosman Remington Genesis 1000 for about an hour each day and I just figured out that the scope creeps slowly no matter how hard I tighten the mount, so I will just get another mount and hopefully it will work, thx for the links.

Over all I liked the ease of operation of the Crosman Remington Genesis 1000. The adjustable trigger was also nice. I would have like to seen a better trigger assembly for $200. As stated before, I am very dissapointed in the 'consistancy' of the gun itself, but I have no qualms with with the accuracy.
If anybody has any words of wisdom, please pass them along.

As suggested by Sifu456 back on October 27, 2004, in a Forum post, I, too, was curious about the performance of the new Crosman Remington Genesis 1000, so I decided to buy one and post a review. Here is a summary of what I found when I tested the rifle over a Chrony Alpha with several different pellets*:
Pellet Type Weight in Grains Velocity FPS
Kodiak 10.6 704
Crow Magnum 8.6 829
H&N Match 8.0 865
RWS Hobby ...
