    We were fortunate enough to have picked one of the few good weather windows to be at Whitsand Bay Lodge Park this year so our holiday was great. The lodge was lovely with all mod cons, nice and clean and with a beautiful view over to dartmoor. It was nice that the cars were parked away from the lodge so there was no noise or headlights to disturb us at night. The climb down the cliff to the beach was quite hard but the fantastic sea views and the glorious beach at the bottom well worth the climb. We will be back again as soon as we can.

    We would like to have known more about what hostelries were nearby as they do seem few and far between. However, those we visited like the the pubs and Hotel in Cawsand were fine.

    Stayed at Whitsand Bay Lodges with Hoseason in August 2009. The lodge was dirty when we arrived and also unsafe, the shower door fell off hitting our son on the head 5 mins after we arrived in the property.The dishwasher broke down and the gas safety certificate had expired. Nobody helped or apologised for the problems we had had. The park itself has seen better days and the the pool and bar area were tired and run down. Would definately NOT recommend for a holiday.

    Our holiday at Whitsand Bay this year (summer 2009) was the worst holiday ever. The lodge was beautiful but nothing worked, door locks, toilets, ensuite shower all did not work plus the lodge had not been cleaned when we arrived. To make matters worse, nobody helped us until two days before we were due to come home after a week's holiday, nobody wanted to know and some staff avoided us for days. We were insulted by a letter fixed on our lodge door reminding us we needed to pay for the "damage". ...
