CAME TO HENDRA IN JULY 09, THE SITE WAS CLEAN AND TIDY AND A GOOD BASE FOR EXPLORING NEWQUAY ETC,,ALL BE IT AN EXSPENSIVE ONE!
THE POOL AREA IS QUITE GOOD BUT TO GO IN THE DECENT INSIDE POOLS WITH THE SLIDES ETC YOU HAVE TO PAY ENTRY! AND IF YOUVE GOT 3 KIDS PROVES EXPENSIVE OVER THE WEEK.
ALSO THE ENTERTAINMENT AREA WAS VERY SMALL AND CRAMMED,TOO SMALL FOR SITE YOU HAVE TO BE IN THERE FOR NO LATER THAN 7 IF YOU WANT A SEAT AND ARCADE AREA FOR KIDS PRETTY SMALL AS WELL, MY GRIPE IS MORE COST... (read more)

We have just returned from a 3 day break to Hendra in Newquay booked through our local paper. We were unsure what to expect as it was such a cheap deal. We were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in their 2 bedroom budget caravan which was well equiped, clean and was in a great situation. I would recommend though if you have small children to take a fan heater with you as it can get quite cold in the evening and early morning, our caravan only had a fire in the living room which we could not... Just returned from Hendra Holiday Park. Booked direct with the park, do check their website, they offer various booking discounts thru out the year. |This park is definitely worth the visit. For a start its immaculate..very important when you think of how much you pay to go on holiday. Beautiful surrounding, outdoor pools very clean and well maintained. Indoor sun centre, brilliant. Hendra Holiday Park provided an amazing holiday and I would recommend to anyone. I'll start with the negatives as there isn't many:

Negatives:
.The pizza bar was slow
.The fish and chip takeaway was quite slow and the chips were overpriced for what they were. Also the people serving there didn't speak very good english and had trouble understanding us.
.The nightclub got very full and although we turned up early most nights, we never got a seat

Second visit to Hoseseasons Hendra Holiday Park and had a superb week over Easter with sister and family. Weather fantastic, caravan was excellent with central heating and double glazing a huge bonus, had everything. Can't fault anything on the park, staff really friendly and helpful, facilities we used all excellent and those we did not use looked great. Although park was obviously busy we where suprised how peaceful it was. Family loved it and we definetly recommend Hendra to everyone,... (read more)

“Have been going on caravan holidays for at least 15...”

Have been going on caravan holidays for at least 15 years to many different parks. This is the FIRST time I have been told that in order to park next to the caravan we would need an expensive upgrade - we had to carry a LOT of luggage / bedding etc about 100 yards to the middle of a row of caravans on WET grass with no path of any kind. Feet were soaked, and I was livid. If they must do this, Hendra Holiday Park should have the decency to lay a path.

A brilliant 10 day hol at Hendra with extended family. What a great place! Two of our families had a top of the range caravan. Superb, and three families had budget range and we struggled to find the difference between them, apart from size and content! Everywhere is immaculate, so clean and the staff are sooo freindly.
