I got my sheridan cb9 Blue Streak from my great uncle and have loved it since! It is very accurate and powerful, but takes way too long to pump and cock if you need 2 shots to hit a target!

bought this sheridan cb9-blue streak gun when I was 8 yrs old. I shot a yellowbelly sap sucker at 75 yds , I know it says only 8 pumps , but I was hard headed then , I put 100 pumps on it , I was as proud of that gun then as a model 700 . im 56yrs old now , it finally needs a rebuild kit , but I think its because i used the wrong oil in it and ruined the cup, great gun >> bought it for 33 dolars , now they are what 169 >>LOL still worth it . I wouldn t recomend 100 pumps , 8 is sufficient >>

Overall it's a good shooter, I think Crosman needs to add a second screw that would hold the action at the rear area to the stock to eliminate any movement. One screw wont cut it. When I first noticed the action wobble I thought it was the biggest P.O.S. I ever purchased. But once fixed I think now it will be a favorite to take out and plink with and shoot pests also. A compressed air rifle feels a whole lot different than a springer rifle when you shoot it. And it takes no technique to shoot ...

LOVE IT ... I had one since i was 11 and im 40 now. It has never let me down. I has been a wonderful gun. The Sheridan CB-9 Blue Streak shoots accurately every time. It can be quite hard to pump for some people.

I have a Sheridan Blue Streak that i purchased in 1962. At last the seals finally gave up the ghost. I just sent it off to have a 'steroid tune' on it. I would not guess the number of tree rats and rabbits it has put on the table. Currently I have a RWS Model 48, a Gamo Stutzen and a Gamo CFX. All are supposed to be more powerful. I much prefer accuracy to power. I don't take 50 yard shots. Never more than 30 yards. The Sheridan will put a 'rat' on the ground with one head shot. Many shoulder sh ...

I've owned this grand little Sheridan blue streak since the late 1970's and it performs as well now as it did over 30 years ago. Mine is especially unique in being a left-handed model, something the company made available for about a year or so.

I got this as a gift when I was a pre-teen. That was almost 30 years ago and this gun still shoots as great now as it did back then. Very accurate and will become something you have for years.

Can't beat this rifle for the money. Will last a lifetime if properly cared for. Mounting a scope is cheating with this air rifle! Accurate to 100' with sub 2" groups.

Ammo dependent. Mine loves Beeman Crow-Magnum.

I have an older Blue Streak - had it since around 1978 - it is great! It will still drive a pellet through a flea's @$$ at 75 ft. & still on the original seals - that's what...30 years - probably made in America. Wow, how time flys when you blink - I do like the other guy's 'roid idea - I wonder if they retro at Mac1...

I'm writing this review about the Sheridan Blue Streak I owned from in my youth from about 1974 to 1980. In that time I bagged multiple squirrels and some larger game with this reliable rifle. Back then I was proud that I could shoot a bumble bee on the fly at 20 feet with open sites. At age 16 I traded it for a car stereo.
The reason I'm writing the review so many years later is I recently had need of a pellet rifle to kill an opossum. While trying to catch a skunk that has become an annoy ...

I am writing this about the Sheridan Blue Streak I owned in my youth from 1974 to 1980. I bagged multiple squirrels, and some larger game in rural eastern Nebraska. I used to practice nearly everyday with this rifle. I was proud that I could shoot a bumble bee on the fly at 20 feet with open sites.
My interest in pellet rifles was recently renewed when I had reason to buy one to get rid of a large opossum I live-trapped in our suburban back yard. I left it in the cage with the door open f ...

The Sheridan "Blue Streak" and "Silver Streak" are well made pneumatic air rifles, destined to become a classics. They are very accurate, have plenty of power for pest control, small game hunting, plinking & target practice. I've owned a number of Sheridan Air Rifles, since I was 12 years old and was never disappointed - all did what they were manufactured to do and did it well.

My dad had a blue streak when i was little back in the early 80's, In Manila, a .20 cal air gun is very very rare, or at least in where we used to live. I use to sneak it out and hunt dirty sewage rats. I didn't even know it's called blue streak lol. I rarely shoot sparrows with it because the 20 cal pellet is hard to find in Manila, let me tell you, that gun hits hard, one shot, one kill and very very accurate. I was able to hit a small hot sauce bottle similar to a small tabasco bottle at 4 ...

I contacted Crosman in the US to query the power problem. They said that despite the blow-off value I should be able to get 10 pumps into the rifle, which to be fair you can do but the additional velocity gained between 5 pumps and 10 is of the order of 10% but this is really not making serious in-roads to the 4 ft/lb deficit that this rifle suffers from. In my view it's a crying shame that the manufacturer seems to have taken a overly cautious approach to complying with the UK 12ft/lb limit by ...

I just bought the rifle today and sighted it in with the open sights after a few adjustments, bringing the point of impact from left to right and from high to low, I was able to group 3 crow magnums in at least half inch MOA two nearly touched. can't wait to hit the squirrell woods with it.

Since being bought out by Crosman, the Benjamin Sheridan lineup of airguns has been cut back. First they did away with the .20 pistols and now it looks like the .20 rifle may go the way of the dinosaur.

For those who don't know, in the early days the .177 and .22 were manufactured by Benjamin. Sheridan, a separate company, manufactured the .20. Essentially the same gun with just a difference in calibers. Some years ago they combined to form Benjamin-Sheridan and then Crosman bought them o ...
