Good Points: They have been found to have excellent temperaments and have lived with children of all ages, some with major disablities. We have a registered PAT dog also, who appeared at Crufts recently. They are a good size, not too big, not too small and have excellent health generally.
Bad Points: They are highly intelligent...which can be good or bad depending on how good the owner is!
General comments: I have had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with Utonagan, who are both beautiful and gentle. They are the kind of dog that you cannot take for a short walk, because everyone wants to pet them! They are bred to look like wolves, but have NO wolf content whatsoever. They are adaptable and many live in a one+ dog household.
They are great for all kinds of families and could do a lot of assistence jobs, one is already a PAT dog, who knows whats next?
