    Good Points: Most mascaras tend to make false claims, but this Bourjois mascara really is a makeup miracle. The white basecoat can be applied just like a normal mascara, and I have short lashes and noticed the difference in length immediately! Once dry, the top coat can be applied which frames the eyes beautifully and emphasises the length. At £8.50 this mascara is on the expensive side, but it lasts ages and is well worth the extra cash! I would recommend this mascara to anyone who has short lashes and wants to make their eyes stand out, or anyone who wants to flaunt what they've got!!!! luv a very satisfied customer. xxx


    Bad Points: There are no major complaints about this mascara however when applying the top coat it may clump slightly.
    Tip: To avoid clumping, use an old mascara brush and simply comb through the lashes to separate them! Also the mascara tube is quite large so not ideal for a small makeup bag!


    General comments: I want to praise Bourjois on their miraculous coup de theatre mascara, and I will definitely continue to use it. I have received loads of compliments on how long my lashes look and I have recommended it to all of my friends. A great buy all round!

    I received Bourjois Coup de Theatre Mascara as a gift from my friend, for my birthday. The bottle is very big, so it can be a little difficult if you have a small make-up bag, but you can easily find a way around it! The bottle is very attractive, and the name of this mascara is also very attractive, especially because I'm an actress. So the mascara was doing well in my book, even before I put it on!

    Although this mascara creates long lashes I don't think I've had my lashes looking excellent only spidery, although less is more I have not yet worked out how much less. There are better mascaras on the market.

    I bought this out of curiosity, after seeing it advertised on TV and reading all the hype about it!
    I was left very disappointed!

    Bourjois Coup de Theatre Mascara has two ends; the white one is applied first to the lashes to create length/volume, then the black side is applied for the colour. I found that when I applied the black colour, my lashes all clumped together and it looked awful! I was left looking like I had about 3 eyelashes!!     Bourjois Coup de Th atre Mascara makes my lashes the longest they have ever looked. It is easy to apply, and I guarantee that you will love this product. The white primer smooths on to lashes easily and it dries quickly for easy application of the mascara. It can clump a little though.

    Bourjois Coup de Th atre Mascara isn't the best mascara I've bought and is certainly not worth the £8.95 I paid for it but still, it is good! It does really lengthen your lashes and my friends did noticed the difference! It does what it says on the packaging but don't go expecting any miracles!

    Bourjois Coup de Th atre Mascara - I chose this mascara simply because I have red hair and was happy that Coup de Th atre was available in a reddish shade. Also, I was curious about the two-part application. I'm surprised and pleased by the results. My lashes look longer and thicker, and the application is quite easy, all things considered.

    This Bourjois Coup de Th atre Mascara happens to be the one that I am wearing now. Its reaching the end of its life and the primer is at its end. However I find that this is the peak of its use simply because in it's sparse application, the white primer is fairly special, however I am unaware whether it, as the original high street brand double ended mascara compares to its Maybelline and L'oreal rivals.

    Bourjois Coup de Theatre Mascara was not very expensive but certainly not even worth what I paid. It takes double as long to apply and certainly isn't worth the extra time. I personally dislike this mascara and will certainly spend more to get a better one next time.

    Bourjois Coup de Th atre Mascara is one of the best mascaras on the market so far and I have tested more than my fair share. It definitely makes lashes longer and fuller and I have reccommended it to all my friends.

    All around, there are definetly more good points than bad points for Bourjois Coup de Th atre Mascara. It makes your eyelashes super-thick and look really long. The only bad thing is the flakiness and a little globbiness-- but not enough to be really noticable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has barely-there eyelashes.

    I love Coup de Theatre Mascara!!!!! I was living in Florida and stubmbled upon Bourjois at Sephora, and thought the line looked wierd. I was gonna buy a mascara from another line, but the sales person there told me that CDT was awesome, so I bought it and fell in love. I loved the mascara soo much that when I moved home to PA I started working for Bourjois.

    Bourjois Coup de Theatre Mascara.
    Advertisement on Television totally 'exaggerates' this product. I have tried and tested it and it certainly does NOT lengthen my lashes! The only product that does this is Estee Lauder Lash Primer Plus, expensive but definitely worth it. Very disappointed with yet another misleading advertisement. So frustrating!! I look forward to your comments back.

    This is the best mascara I have ever bought. It makes my lashes look much longer and fuller in a natural way, and doesn't irritate my eyes at all which I have a problem with sometimes with other mascaras.
    I would throughly recommend this!

    I love this mascara! I got a makeover at Sephoria in Vegas and the girl there swore by this stuff. I thought I had long lashes by nature. But, boy was I surprized by Bourjois! This mascara makes them look longer and more defined. Other brands make my eyelashes too thick. Those little fibers are amazing. I had people at work actully comment on my lashes saying they are too long to be real. I love this stuff. I really like to draw attention to my eyes now, I never thought dark brown eyes coul ...

    This Coup de Theatre Mascara from Bourjois is thick, so I had trouble getting it to stick to my lashes. Once the product was on, it did produce results, giving longer than long lashes. However I would not recommend it's formula for folks with finer hair. After application it weighs the lashes down causing them to straighten. Also, not good for longer wear times. In as little as 4-6 hours the product starts flaking leaving an uneven long and short lash look. It wasn't for me.

    If you are looking to have longer lashes (not necessarily fuller lashes), then Bourjois Coup de Theatre is the mascara for you. I always like to try new cosmetic products and I am quite pleased with this product.

    It's too expensive if compared to local egyptian mascaras, but it's perfect and my lashes look great.
