Good Points: Easy for the non-scientist to learn about cool techy stuff. The spoof things are brilliant, sometimes surreal, I didn't espect this from scientists. The Troof or Spoof feature is very cleverly written and no where near as easy to answer correctly as you might think

Bad Points: I have only found it online. I haven't seen it in any local shops.

General comments: Truly brilliant combination of real, cutting-edge info and nearly-true spoofs.

A great combination of high-tech fact and fun fiction.

I found Null Hypothesis, the Journal of Unlikely Science by chance in a local bookshop, thought I would give it a go and proved to be very interesting and informative read, not only for me, but my wife and two nephews too!

Presented in a very non-intrusive way, which means you don't need to be a scientist to enjoy it. Thumbs up....

Null Hypothesis has a range of satirical science papers and factual articles on the latest research. They also highlight the most bizarre sections of academic work. It's kind of like a cross between Private Eye and New Scientist.

It's an easy magazine to dip in and out of. Keeps me amused for hours!
