    Good Points: Regular mortgage updates/statements to inform me of my balance etc.


    Bad Points: Application process slightly long winded. Although I had under-estimated my salary compared to my employer's reference, they still queried it. Not sure why me earning more money was a problem?!


    General comments: Now coming to an end of my 2 year fixed rate with Scottish Widows Mortgages and there doesn't seem to be a very good deal as with most banks for existing customers just good rates for new customers to attract them in,
