I would just like to say, in my experience, how easy this was. I applied for a 500 pound loan with Provident Loans and within two day's the agent called and she came round with the cash. I signed a few forms and she will come around each week to collect payment. The thing is people seem to be put off by the APR they actually don't make that much off you and you have 2 choices how many weeks you want the loan over etc. If you have a A* credit rating I wouldn't bother with this, but for people li ...

I applied over the internet for a £200 cash loan. I was called within the day and an agent arranged to call with the paperwork the next day. He never explained the interest rates and expected me to sign without first telling me the weekly repayments! I had the impression that he expected me to know these already. however, he did turn up the next day with £150 cash (not the £200 I had been expecting) and has always been friendly and polite when collecting payments. As a singl ...

    What a nightmare!

After Provident Loans approved my husband and myself for a mortgage (of course, our credit score is close to 800 and we have a hefty down-payment), making us sign all the papers at closing and getting all organized to move into our new home, Provident refused to fund our loan!!!

They had time to review everything before but they suddenly realized they did not want a non-US citizen as a co-borrower (that's me, my husband is American)! My lawyer specialized in immigration even ...

I wouldn't recommend anyone to have a provident loan and if you look around and like me wanted someone to collect my payments each week there are cheaper companies out their. I now have a loans company called universal cash loans and would recommend them see my review.

The agent from Provident Loans came to house and was very helpful. The paperwork was filled in, and the agent came back 2 days later with my money.

I contacted provident Loans for a loan, and they asked if I would like someone to call BEFORE coming round to fill out forms (they say this is a reason for the 177% APR, that someone comes to your home to answer any questions, and they come weekly to collect payments. I said yes, and gave a mobile and home number. A man called me once to discuss it, but I was in a shop. He said he'd call back in an hour. Two days later he'd not called, so I called them. They said they'd get someone to call me, ...
