I've found them brilliant. I tend to fiddle with vehicles, I converted my own motorhome then fitted a different make engine and transmission. EVERY other insurance company wet themselves when I rang them. Not Adrian Flux. Their quote was very reasonable too. The same with my car, LPG conversion, wrong engine and box and also my electric vehicle.

Instant email response for copy documents, polite attentive people on the phone.

Highly recommended I can't fault them.

I have never been treated as badly by a company that I have paid money to. I asked them to insure my kit car, when it was being built, as they advertise that they will cover all stages of the build. After driving it (insured) to the SVA test, it unfortunately failed. Adrian Flux then wrote to me, demanding the registration number of the car, and saying they would cancel the policy without one. They were not swayed by the argument that the DVLA wouldn't give me the registration number till it ...

Adrian Flux Car Insurance are a very efficient and friendly company. Their rates are extremely competitive and I have not had a single problem with them since insuring with them in 2007. I would recommend them to anybody who values quality customer service.

I would never recommend Adrian Flux for insurance - they did not send out either letter or email of my renewal and then proceeded to charge my card for an insurance that I did not want - they have now re-imbursed monies in full however when I pointed out that I did not receive any communication from postal or email services I was accused of lieing and ineptitude by a member of staff. I would not recommend Adrian Flux for anything.

I payed £1,000 to insure my Nissan micra with Adrian Flux Car Insurance. This seemed a good deal at the time as other insurance companies were looking at premiums at around 2-3,000 pounds as im only 18years old. When i took out insurance i told them that in the january i was doing a pass plus course, which was later canceled till the end of february. I got badgered constantly for the certificate that i could not supply them with, so they asked me for the 30% discount that they reckon the ...

I was involved in a sub 5mph bumper scrape on a roundabout. Other driver did not indicate whilst on the roundabout and changed his mind at the last minute. We had a tiny scrape bumper to bumper. NO damage to my car, a 10mm long, 1mm deep graze in his bumper.
I immediately contacted Adrian Flux with a full written statement and heard nothing for 3 months. They finally received his claim after this period and then shipped out the claim process to an external company.
The other party claimed person ...

Adrian Flux are not very friendly and tend to be a bit slow in sending out documents, policies etc and when they do it's always 2nd class post. They do seem to see insurance as more of a money-making exercise than a service so watch out for admin costs and if they forget to charge you for anything, even if it takes them a year to notice their mistake, they'll chase you hard for the money as if it was your fault.

I insured a very highly modified vehicle through Adrian Flux and have to say they were by far the cheapest for that motor. However when I sold that vehicle and bought a "normal" model and was horrified at the best quote given. As I was halfway through the insurance period I accepted it but changed as soon as I could at renewal time.
I found some operators to be very "cold" on the phone, plus I had a problem with them losing a highly detailed vehicle modification sheet I had sent to them. Some ti ...

I had a good experience with Adrian Flux. I bought a motorhome, but had never owned a car and thus had no insurance or no claims record. Whilst other companies were quoting me over £1000, they managed to insure me for just over £300. The staff were professional and helpful and they were able to email me my insurance documents, so I got them all straight away and could check them.

I am certainly considering looking elswhere for my insurance once this policy runs out, possibly even before!
If you cannot trust them with the basics, how can you trust them to handle a claim correctly? Thank goodness I have (so far) not had to find out the answer to that question!

Adrian Flux car insurance are brilliant, they are very helpfully, and know what they are talking about, they specialise in modified cars, and dont load a massive percentage on your insurance if you cars is modified, also they cover mods like for like, so very helpful if you have spent alot of money on mods, and they dont penalize if your under the age of 25! They also offered me an agreed value on my car, hardley any other company would even touch me on this car with the mods, let alone cover mo ...

I insured my Hotrod car as flux "claim" to be specialist insurance for such a vehicle. Unfortunately my car got caught up in the July floods. Its taken the six months to decide that the car should be written off, total loss. They have treated my car as an everyday run of the mill car, not anything special, even though I tried to justify it being saved by posting them magazine cuttings ect. of it I have had to do all of the chasing on this case, they have never been forthcoming with any help or i ...

I took out a policy from them because it came out to be the cheapest for my bike insurance, I had paid them monthly, so they asked for a deposit and the first months payment, after about a week I have managed to get business insurance through my work so i no longer required it so I gave them a call to cancel the policy, when I spoke to customer services it took me about 15 minutes to get through, when I mentioned to cancel the customer services lady said if you cancel we will have to keep the de ...

We have taken an insurance policy with them in July which was agreed on and paid for. After a month they started to ask all sort of searching questions on the ground that one of the drivers is Belgian (therefore EU citizen) and needs to provide marriage certificate and proof of residence... Then decided to cancel our policy without any notice. We were totally unaware of this, and must have used the car while uncovered without knowing it...
The customer service is appalling, we were put on hold ...

I have been with Adrian Flux for a year now and everything is fine, however I have never claimed and my renewal has just come through and paid it no problems. Customer service is good compared to other young/modified drivers who pass you from pillar to post when you try to get a quote and they are English based which is a massive bonus
