“1 Star as 0 Stars is not possible”

My wife took out insurance when renewing, to then call her existing to cancel, who then offered a better deal, when my wife call them back, the number we were given was wrong, and also everytime we did get through to cancel, she was cut off. Now a day later she cannot cancel without paying a 1 day charge of £81!!! total rubbish company, we have refused to pay it so with our phone recordings, we hope they take us to court at more costs to them. “Refuse to collect my Excess. Unbelievable”

My policy was underwritten by Equity Red Star who Adrian Flux stated to me are an underwriter they use in a lot of policies. Equity Red Star have a particularly bad reputation online and I wish I had researched them first. To summarise this has been my experience with using them to handle my claim. In other words Adrian Flux are unable to provide any creditable reason for not delivering the product their customers pay for.
I am please to be awarded compensation from the FOS for a mis sold policy and encourage other policy holders to do the same.

Took out classic insurance on a 27 year old car, took a month to sort out as i had to send 7 pics, a limited mileage guarantee, an agreed valuation ( which i had to pay an extra £15 for) i kept getting e mails asking for the docs which previous emails had confirmed they had received. You may want to look at the hire car aspect of your policy. I was awarded compensation for the fact that it is mis sold - i.e. does not mention that it gets sent to a 3rd party company who can reject on any grounds. I got £50 - better than nothing.

“stay away! ”

Worst experience ever. Incompetent sales staff who made false promises for insuring a US import. Customer service is a script read by a junior sales person who refuses to pass calls to a senior manager, despite numerous requests. Policy canceled despite all documentation being provided to them on their website. Charged over GBP 200 after the cancellation, with numerous threatening letters. The worst company in insurance by a mile....they draw you in then hound and fleece the hell out of you.....you enter into a contract that costs you money to renew..they keep you on hold when you want to cancel a renewal and then they deny it .. please do yourself a favour and avoid with a barge pole… Read Full Review

“ripped off for a second time”

Appalling service. This is twice in 2 years adrian flux has ended up costing me a huge amount of money. Miss sold products and then refusing to except any responsibility and charging commission where they shouldn't. I'm £200 out of pocket this time. Last time was even more money. This company are a joke. Went on to a comparison website found my insurance for 100 odd pound a month considering I am 21. So I brought it after it being the cheapest one. They then go on to ring me up to tell me because I haven't got a certain thing so they are increasing my insurance to 310 a month and that is then putting the thing I was wrongly directed by on the policy. “Avoid at all costs...”

If you have to claim, you may well have an experience like mine: I raised a fairly straightforward winsdscreen claim through them in October 2015, and to this date (June 2016) it is not settled. “Great initial insurance premium followed by hidden fees”

Ok so on paper they offer some of the cheapest insurance premiums on the market for learner drivers. However if you pay monthly and pass before that year is up your get heavy heavy fees at the end, leaving you to foot the bill for almost the cost of the total policy. If your learning to drive it's cheaper to just take driving lessons and not have your own learner insurance policy . Adrian flux are complete untrustworthy jokers! I never needed to claim, but all I can say is thank God ! As a maximum no claims customer I am generally a safe bet, but regardless of this I had terrible customer service, Gestapo interrogation while giving my details and policy cancelled with no notice and no explanation. Phoned to change car on policy waited for 45 mins only to end up speaking to a lady with a seriously bad attitude wanted to change from present car group 46 ins to new car group 31 ins was told it is the same price unbelievable and then if I wasn't happy why didn't I just cancel the policy. 25% cheaper than the next cheapest quote I could find - so much cheaper that I suspect they may have made a mistake. They reclassified my overnight parking classification, and seemed to be trying to convince me I was using the vehicle for work, but I ended up getting the price I signed up for. I tried to switch over my car insurance from a modified Honda CRX to a newer standar Honda Civic Type R GT. They kept me waiting for 15 mins and then hung up. I tried again same result. “Cheap but very poor service (following write off)”

We recently had our car written off by another driver. This in itself is a very stressful experience (although thankfully my wife and daughter had only minor injuries), but Adrian Flux have helped to make this even more stressful. In order for us to buy a new car we need the loan paid off on the old car. Adrian Flux don't actually deal with claims themselves and use another company, Hadleigh Claims.
