“Shoddy Service”

I was shopping around earlier this morning and during that "search" was connected to these people. In the 1st instance the receptionist took some details, put me on hold then i got a "sales advisor" who then took all my information and put me on hold for 5 minutes before coming back to me and telling me she was still waiting for the system to generate the quote....the call went dead (having done insurance quotations and been "top performer" most of the time employed, service such as this… Read Full Review

“Avoid at all costs...”

Do not buy insurance through this company. If you have to claim, you may well have an experience like mine: I raised a fairly straightforward winsdscreen claim through them in October 2015, and to this date (June 2016) it is not settled. “Great initial insurance premium followed by hidden fees”

Ok so on paper they offer some of the cheapest insurance premiums on the market for learner drivers. However if you pay monthly and pass before that year is up your get heavy heavy fees at the end, leaving you to foot the bill for almost the cost of the total policy. If your learning to drive it's cheaper to just take driving lessons and not have your own learner insurance policy . Adrian flux are complete untrustworthy jokers! I never needed to claim, but all I can say is thank God ! As a maximum no claims customer I am generally a safe bet, but regardless of this I had terrible customer service, Gestapo interrogation while giving my details and policy cancelled with no notice and no explanation. This company are playing at insurance in a big boys industry, low on features and service, definitely get insured elsewhere… Read Full Review

I phoned Adrian flux to swap vechle on policy to be told they couldn't insure me on new car even though got three years no clams and are a Hgv 1 driver they said all we can do is cancel ur policy at a cost to me of 121 pounds so cancelled my direct debit as thought the service the provide is inadequate and they two weeks later with no permission reset up a direct debit and took payment without permission. As a broker we sometimes find that the insurer you are currently with won't insure a vehicle you are wishing to change to. However we can invariably find an insurer that will but it does mean cancelling the first policy and starting another.

Phoned to change car on policy waited for 45 mins only to end up speaking to a lady with a seriously bad attitude wanted to change from present car group 46 ins to new car group 31 ins was told it is the same price unbelievable and then if I wasn't happy why didn't I just cancel the policy. “so far so good”

25% cheaper than the next cheapest quote I could find - so much cheaper that I suspect they may have made a mistake. They reclassified my overnight parking classification, and seemed to be trying to convince me I was using the vehicle for work, but I ended up getting the price I signed up for. “Worst telephone service ever”

I tried to switch over my car insurance from a modified Honda CRX to a newer standar Honda Civic Type R GT. They kept me waiting for 15 mins and then hung up. I tried again same result. Third time I gave up . Fourth time I got through and kept getting shunted from department to department until I couldn't stand it any more and told them just cancel the insurance. “Cheap but very poor service (following write off)”

We recently had our car written off by another driver. This in itself is a very stressful experience (although thankfully my wife and daughter had only minor injuries), but Adrian Flux have helped to make this even more stressful. In order for us to buy a new car we need the loan paid off on the old car. Adrian Flux don't actually deal with claims themselves and use another company, Hadleigh Claims. “New Drivers - LOOK AROUND - will rip you off”

Took out provisional insurance for my daughter with Adrian Flux, and at the time discussed the potential premiums once she had passed her test, which I deemed not to be too excessive. “Do Not Use”

I rang them up for a quote for house insurance. The guy on the phone was not very knowledgeable at all. I decided to go ahead. When I received the paperwork the quoted fee had been upped by £5 and the money taken from my bank. There were 3 items in the policy I didn't agree with apart from the price. The house insurance didn't cover accidental damage! Only intentional damage? There were a couple of items where they hadn't even asked me about and they had assumed the answer. This company promotes expertise in the insurance arena with tailor made quotes to suit your needs. I spent over 3 hours on the telephone giving my exact details and needs. Had got a fairly decent quote the other day (still not great), was advised to get policy information emailed - this never arrived. The lady was quite clueless and I got cut off 5 times! Rang up today to amend the policy to remove the add ons and add my partner on the policy, which increased the policy by around £70... fair enough. I've been with flux for over 10 years and to put it mildly, they gone gone from great to horrendous. Every year, they quote a stupidly high price which then involves you wasting time calling them to get a better quote. They take money from your account before the end of your current policy "assuming" you'll be sticking with them. We are glad that you are happy with our service levels but are very surprised to hear about the amount charged for your telephone call.

Our customer service lines were changed to 03 numbers in October 2015. Calls to 03 numbers cost no more than a national rate call to an 01 or 02 number and count towards any inclusive minutes in the same way as 01 and 02 calls. This applies to calls from mobiles, BT, other fixed line or payphone.
