Have been with Frizzells/LV Frizzell for 35 plus years and cannot fault them throughout this period. The service is great, just give them the details and they do it all for you, very helpfull staff as well. Must admit to not really needing them very much but we had "funny case" some years back on who owned the other car and was it really insured, Frizzells just took details and sorted it all out for me. Been with Frizzell now part of LV since Noah was a lad and my Dad before me. Be very wary whenever you renew always call them the twenty minutes or so waiting for someone to answer on a chargeable number usually results in some reduction. When I received my latest quote I noticed an increase in one of the named driver's Excess (mine) this apparently was as a result of my notifying them of a minor bump in the snow which I did not claim for. Had reason to access the breakdown cover associated with the insurance - found it to be very helful, efficient and effective. Very good customer service. Would renew on this basis so far although have limited experience… Read Full Review

After around 20 years insuring with Frizzell on the basis of "cheaper insurance" because I was a CSMA member, I've just cancelled my car insurance policy with them having found considerably cheaper insurance elsewhere. Despite cancelling nearly a month before the next instalment was due, they still collected the monthly premium of nearly £60 and then only gave me a £7 refund because "they didn't have enough time to cancel the direct debit", plus they took a large admin fee. Frizzell used to be excellent until LV took them over. Now customer service is terrible and almost one week since my accident (not my fault) they have still not sorted out a loan car or repair for me - they wanted to send my car (less than a year old) to a non-authorised repair centre which would have invalidated my bodywork warranty. Their callcentre keeps you hanging on for hours and hours and hours at YOUR cost and they didnt call back when they say they will. Appalling. I will not be… Read Full Review

Had a incident were someone hit my car and they admitted liability, Frizzell Car Insurance lost my motor accident claim details on line.
It's now been three weeks and i still haven"t heard from them.

When my car got written off because of a fire, I was expecting the process for making a claim to be long and tedious. However, after I had given the details of my claim, I was provided with a courtesy car almost straight away. Within a couple of weeks I received my cheque for my car.
