Currently have a non fault claim going through with Virgin and they are absolutely shocking. I work in insurance and so know how things work but this company is just a total shower. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I dont think its even Richard Branson these days. Might be RBS?

The only one good thing was the good valuation they gave me for my car but other than that I have nothing good to say about them, their products or their rude, waste of space staff.

Rude assessor on the phone after my car was stolen. I'm being made to feel like a criminal! They won't let me suspend my payments while they investigate the matter, and because there's nobody there for them to claim from they insist that I won't be refunded my monthly charges and can't cancel until they're done with their investigation. So basically, I'm paying them £60 a month to do some investigating with no chance of ever getting my money back. A little compassion would go a long wa ...

Absolutely awful. Had Virgin car insurance for 6 years. But when we moved, they wanted to double our insurance premium (despite never having claimed). Despite many calls, Virgin haven't sent me my no claims record so I can send to my new insurer. Highy recommend that you avoid virgin car insurnace!

I had an accident( not my fault) called Virgin Car Insurance, call was answered within 2 rings. Advisor took my details and said the garage would be in touch to arrange repair. Two hours later the garage rang and we arranged a time for a quotation. took it there. Car Rental company rang to ask when i needed a vehicle and they will pick me up. Car was fixed, never without a car. Totally awesome service....May have helped that the 3rd party admitted liability.

Purchased Virgin car Insurance via Confused.com which on comparison stated that a courtesy was included. Had to make claim (Not my fault) was advised that courtesy car only provided if garage fixing my car was willing to provide one (they wern't) so no courtesy car. I think they use Glass' price guide to fix your settlement fee. No extra for Tow Bar (less that one year old) class it as part of vehicle and no extra for in car entertainment unit unless this has previously been notified to them tha ...

Do not use them. Just moved house and rang Virgin Car Inurance to tell them and they charged me £51 to do it. No changes to the policy just I moved a mile away.

Had a car accident 4 weeks ago car was fully comp with all the extras like a car if your one is damaged or written off.
Any way having to wait for phone calls from engineers claims people having to spend at least an hour to get through to the right people to be spoken to like a idiot they finally come out with a settle ment figur fo £1800 with service history as I do my own servicing they will not recognise it and are offering less.
Money please I do not recommend this company as there ar ...

I had an accident (my fault) and was due to go on holiday two days later and drive to the airport, Virgin Car Insurance sorted everything out for me and my car was fixed for the day I got back from holiday a week later. They are still the cheapest insurance I can find and I hope to stay with them for many years.

I had fully comp cover, made a claim (no other car involved and not my fault) car written-off, told me I could buy car back but later that day informed me they had already scrapped it. Thanks a bunch Sir Richard Branson!

Simple accident with little damage and 3rd party automatically accepted liability. I make claim to Virgin who I don't hear from again. I contact their repairer myself to arrange car repairs, which ends up with my car waiting there two weeks for the Virgin engineer to assess before work even starts. When its done, because he was so stringent the repairer had to cut corners so the result was appalling. 2 months later with absolutely no word from Virgin except when I call them to complain, the issu ...

I have been waiting a week for them, to speak to their engineer and return my call. Despite several calls to them, including two to complain, I still have had no word. I wonder if this is the type of customer service Sir Richard would expect? I doubt it! In the event of a claim, Virgin Car Insurance become a bit daft!

It was expensive to change the insurance on a new vehicle with Virgin Car insurance. They could not care less, and I cancelled my policy 4 days into January 2006 due to my job changes. I had to sell my car, and Virgin charged me £45.33. When I asked about it, they said that it is their policy, so adding to my money problems. Thank you Richard Branson. No wonder you are loaded.

After 50 years of driving I had an accident 4 weeks ago that the 3rd party was charged and admitted liability.
After contacting Virgin Car Insurance claims department I was met with total rudeness and arrogance even to a point that halfway through a question the telephone was put down on me.To be fair I must admit the time was 2 minutes to 5pm which was close to clocking off time.
I want to get away from this company as soon as possible but after reading most of the reviews where does one go t ...
