Very poor customer service - obviously once they've got you to sign up they lose interest - constantly fluctuating rates and limits - sucession of standard template responses to enquiries.

Sky Credit Card Card have some way to go to meet the Customer Relations standards expected and the product doesn't offer any significant benefits over other providers.

    Could not recommend at all.

I used to be a customer of Barclays years ago and left because of bad customer service. Thinking things might be different I applied for the SkyCard. Things worked well for a period and then in April 2008 things started to go wrong with the direct debit. They would collect random amounts of money and apply late fees. I would ring every month and complain; they would refund the late fees. Eventually I ended up writing to the MDs of Barclaycard and Sky saying how bad things were. The account ...

I think the skycard is great. I pay the balance off every month and have used the points to reduce my sky bill. I am really sorry that it is being withdrawn. The other reviews complain about sky, but don't forget that the card is run by barclays. I have found barclaycard to be extremely sneeky and disloyal so why should they treat the skycard customers any different. If you are with BT then their credit card is also great - points go towards paying off your phone bill.

I have never had any problems with Sky Credit Card, however, this morning through the post I received a letter saying that barclays and sky have decided to stop the skycard, I dont know what this means since I have a high balance on it because a couple of months ago I was offered a 4.9% balance transfer deal for the life of the balance which I took them up on and transfered a few balances

Sky for no real reason at all decided to reduce my Credit limit down, i have a 100% track record and they wrote me some rubish letter. I challenged them on this not that i wanted the Credit Limit they had originaly set but they claimed they were acting as a responsible company. I explained to them in my reply that if they were a resonsible Credit Card company then they should have not gone around giving people massive Credit limits in the first instance. Thay have got to be one of the worst oper ...

sky credit card are useless! I redeemed points every month from my sky credit card onto my sky tv bill. sky failed to reduce my sky tv bill 4 times (yes, 4) over a period of only eight months. When I phoned sky credit card they always said they would investigate and phone me back....they lie....they never phone you back. I phoned today and was told that I should have lodged a missing sky points request earlier than I did (I lodged the request 76 days after I redeemed the points) Thi ...

I always pay the full balance off my Sky Credit card every month however this month their payment facility was broken and it was several days after the due date before I paid my balance. I phoned Sky to see if they would waive the interest as it was their fault but I ended up speaking to a difficult customer service person. She refused to allow me to speak with a manager.

One would think that the banks would be trying to present a better face after the mess they got us into but no, just more o ...

I always pay over the required minimum payment but on one occassion I forgot to pay I was alerted by a staff of SKY C/C I made my apologies and paid 50% over the missed payment . To my dismay over six other staff phoned me to request for payments and reminded me each time that I have a payment waiting, I got angry and said dont you guys speak to each other where the person on the other end made a weak apology and disappeared . I paid off my account later and I am still to spend my bonus point . ...

They reduced my credit limit from over £9000 to £1200.
I suspect to limit my collecting of loyalty points to get money off my sky tv bill. Because I always pay off the balance I think they lower your credit rating in my opinion, but you won't get a answer if you ring them. They dont admit to this but wont advise what I can do to get a more suitable credit limit. They are a poor service and I would advise stay well away.

Great loyaly scheme - 1% back in credits to your sky viewing bill. All in all a good card, don't make any payments > £2k so they are credited immediately.

I transferred a balance on the 1st of March at 0%. which went onto the account on the 6th March. I received a statement on the 19th April which had a late payment fee on. I phoned immediately and asked how my first statement could have a late fee on to be told it was my second statement. I never received the original statement from March and have requested 3 times and am still waiting. I have had 2 letters saying, 'please find enclosed copy statement' and there was nothing else in the envelo ...

Used my Sky Credit card to withdraw cash, I knew there was a charge, but I didnt expect to pay £1 every month interest on the cash transaction. I phoned and was told I had to let the balance go to zero only then would I stop paying the £1. So even though I paid the amount in full the month I drew cash, As long as I was spending on the card the £1 would stay on. There are better cards around, my advice don't withdraw cash, shop around

They reduced my limit on their card within 3 months. Stick with your current card as it will be better for credit limit. Sky credit limit is very poor, starts off decent but after a few months is reduced to pocket money limit. No good for emergencies.

Use to use my sky card quite a bit but now only use if i desperately need to as i feel that the companies loyalties to their customers is very poor and the staff are not very helpful and would not be my first choice for recommendation.

I recently booked flights with my card as I have always done for the past 2 years. To my dismay, they had gone and reduced my credit limit with out first letting me know. When I rang to find out why, the unhelpful man on the other end said it was because there was a large unused amount just sitting there, therefor they reduced my limit because the card wasn't being used. I am very angry indeed. PLEASE what is the point trying to bring your balance down to save for the little extras in life, rea ...
