Good Points: balance transfer was the easy bit
Bad Points: Never received initial statement Customer Service is dreadful No communication between departments
General comments: I transferred a balance on the 1st of March at 0%. which went onto the account on the 6th March. I received a statement on the 19th April which had a late payment fee on. I phoned immediately and asked how my first statement could have a late fee on to be told it was my second statement. I never received the original statement from March and have requested 3 times and am still waiting. I have had 2 letters saying, 'please find enclosed copy statement' and there was nothing else in the envelope. I keep getting phone calls telling me I have not paid my March statement yet I am on the phone every other day with customer services requesting to see this elusive statement. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with, even worse than BT. I have never in my life made a late payment and have now got a mark on my credit rating because of their incompetence. I will be transferring the balance onto a different account very soon.

Used my Sky Credit card to withdraw cash, I knew there was a charge, but I didnt expect to pay £1 every month interest on the cash transaction. I phoned and was told I had to let the balance go to zero only then would I stop paying the £1. So even though I paid the amount in full the month I drew cash, As long as I was spending on the card the £1 would stay on. There are better cards around, my advice don't withdraw cash, shop around

They reduced my limit on their card within 3 months. Stick with your current card as it will be better for credit limit. Sky credit limit is very poor, starts off decent but after a few months is reduced to pocket money limit. No good for emergencies.

Use to use my sky card quite a bit but now only use if i desperately need to as i feel that the companies loyalties to their customers is very poor and the staff are not very helpful and would not be my first choice for recommendation.

I recently booked flights with my card as I have always done for the past 2 years. To my dismay, they had gone and reduced my credit limit with out first letting me know. When I rang to find out why, the unhelpful man on the other end said it was because there was a large unused amount just sitting there, therefor they reduced my limit because the card wasn't being used. I am very angry indeed. PLEASE what is the point trying to bring your balance down to save for the little extras in life, rea ...

Still yet to resolve an issue with Sky Credit Card after over 18 months in regard to late fees due to Sky setting up direct debits incorrectly. I have phoned, written and emailed several times. In April I received a letter stating the issue would finally be resolved by May 24. May 23 I received a letter stating they would answer by June 21 once they had more details from me... yet didn't tell me what those details were. Tried to call them. Guess what? Answerphone. Appalling, appalling, appalling ...

I elected to replace my two credit cards on which the balance is paid off monthly. Each has a monthly limit of £10,000, however Sky managed to set a limit of £500 for the replacement one. This is less than the spending limit of my very first credit card in 1986 and less than my monthly spend since about 1996. Sky assured me it would be reviewed after 5 or 6 months. I assured them where they could best place their card. Sky don't seem to be geared up for financial services.

Although they offer interest free, they make sure you can't take full advantage of it, by reducing your credit limit to your current balance on the third month.
I wouldn't recommend the Sky credit card.

They freeze payments so you can't use the Sky credit card properly for at least a third of a month. They reduce your credit card limit for no reason, and customer services are unhelpful.

They are alright I think. Only trouble is I am now abroad and I can't find the website anywhere to make payments. Looks like I may get charged for late payment if I don't miraculously find a way to pay.

We took out the SkyCard based on 0% offer on the balance transfer offer. As many people, we use the credit card throughout the month and then pay off the balance when the bill comes in. That way you can max out your reward points and keep your cash in the bank to earn interest for the longest period possible!
HOWEVER BEWARE, SkyCard have put a restriction on the amount we can pay back to the card without incurring a 10 day 'payment verification'. This means that after filling up the card ove ...

The Sky credit card is interesting in the fact that you can access your account via your digibox. I wish more card providers did this.

I've had a few problems with the SKY Credit Card. Firstly all letters state you are entitled to 0% balance transfer for 6 months. However, their policy is that you can only make a balance transfer if your credit limit is £500+. I filed a complaint, and eventually they allowed me to make a balance transfer. What they didn't tell me was that they would have to temporarily increase my credit limit to £500 for the transfer to go through. So when I activated my card it stated a credit lim ...

Well after having had some really rubbish cards before the Sky Credit Card I was very pleased to get mine. I think it is only available to Sky subscription customers but I am not totally sure, maybe I am wrong. Reasonable interest rates too and looks nice. Worth having in my honest opinion.
