Good Points: The latex mattress reduced my allergy symptoms
Bad Points: S&F Comfort Cloud Latex mattress was very expensive, heavy, and extremely uncomfortable after 6 months. I am currently replacing our mattress which was purchased 1.5 years ago.
General comments: I would NOT recommend purchasing a S&F Latex mattress.

It has sagged more than 1.5" three times and has been replaced each time under warranty. It is being replaced again now. This time, the company is being difficult in my opinion and won't tell me which model I can look at or they will replace it with; they merely claim they have an entire new line-up and they are "better." I am doubtful of their claims after all the problems. This is the last Stearns & Foster I will ever have and will not recommend the product given the problems and bad cust ...

Advice: Do not buy Stearns & Foster. Save your money. Our mattress is horrible. I believe the negative reviews. I did my research figuring the negative reviews were few. But the negative reviews in this case are true.Do not buy Stearns & Foster. Had the similar sagging problems as previous posters and have had horrible nights sleep!

A roommate of mine had a S & F in 2000 which I liked and felt bad about borrowing (since he was using a futon). It was firm and I slept really well in it. So when I moved to a new place, I decided to make my first huge investment, and it was well worth it. I had it for about 5 years before I moved to the UK so then I gave it to my mother, and she is quite happy with it now. It's probably too expensive for what I paid at the time, I think Sealy makes comparable firm and pillow top mattresses ...

Every mattress I have purchased in the last few years had to be replaced. The latest debacle has been a Stearns & Foster pillow top (top of the line) which I purchased at Macy's for over $2,500.00 it sags so badly that not only my neck hurts, but also my back and sciatic nerves since I got it.

Bought a Stearns & Foster mattress less than 2 years ago from Macy's. I paid $2800.00 for a queen size. It is so uncomfortable! Had it inspected today and was told it sagged 3/4 of an inch on both sides, and it needs to sag 1.5 inches before they will replace it. We will have it inspected every 90 days. Also we will never shop at Macy again. Never had this problem at Sears. The warranty has turned out to be useless.

I wish I had more information prior to buying our Sterns & Foster California King Pillow Top Mattress. We purchased our mattress for $4200.00 and after 5 months, it already was beginning to sag! We have tried to remedy this problem and have it fixed, but dealing with the manufacturer in our case has been a nightmare.

I purchased the Sterns and Foster Plaza mattress in July of "07 and by January the matress had two huge body prints. I only weigh 110 lbs. I contacted the vendor who sent out an inspector--it had only sunk 3/4 inch. I also contacted Sterns and Foster hoping that they would stand behind their product. Nope! They will not do a thing until the dips are 2 inches deep. I spoke with two customer service reps and found they were both not nice. It is so frustrating that these companies are able ...

Purchased STEARNS & FOSTER HOTEL COLLECTION CUSHION FIRM KING from MACY'S and within weeks experienced two depressions on either side of the bed with a ridge in the center making it difficult to turn over and creating backaches. Three inspections later, we're still not at the measurable "1 1/2" depression certifying that it is a defect. However, judging from all the other complaints, this isn't a defect in one particular piece, it's shoddy quality and workmanship of their products. If this mat ...

Bought a Stearns and Foster " Rose Spring" king-sized mattress set at Mattress Firm. This mattress was replaced about 3 years ago due to poor wear. The replacement set has the same problems as the other. It was comfortable for about a month and then began sagging badly. It is now lopsided and sagging and very hard on the back. Even with foam toppers it is uncomfortable. We finally contacted customer service again and completed all forms. They sent an "inspector" who measured depressions aft ...

Bed sags where I sleep. We thought it was because the delivery people bent it to much getting it up the steps. We called about it and Macy's sent out a guy who said we had to rotate it. We did and it seemed fine for one night. Now it sags again. We are attempting to get a refund.Never again. We had a bad experience all around with Macy's furniture and their billing department.

Our conclusion is that it is very difficult to find the ideal bed. We will likely just purchase a medium grade from Costco for a fraction of the price and use the genuine Temper- Pedic topper as we had done with our old bed. We tried another mattress previous to the Stearns .Foster and were also disappointed. It was also the top of the line, and the brand was Beauty Rest. With this one, we felt the springs through the top. Price has not been an issue but we do expect our money's worth.

I bought a queen Sweetwater Branch - Wellington series top of the line and in one month there is a deep valley in the middle. I am a single woman and weigh 150 lbs. I wake up in the night with excruciating back pain and arms, fingers are numb and neckache. This is the worst mattress I have ever owned.

We went to Haverty's Furniture Store in Augusta, GA and were steered to a much higher priced double pillow top, firm Stearns and Foster queen size mattress / box springs rather than the Sealy we originally intended to purchase. I am told that a "stain" voids the warranty, even though the sags and midline ridge are, and were evident to the "inspector"! I intend to pursue this matter as far as necessary.

We bought the 'top of the line' S&F mattress... it is sagging badly, I can either sleep in the valley or on the mountain. After looking at others' horror stories about dealing with the S&F warranty, we are just going to write off the 3000 dollars and look for another mattress.Attention corporate shills, it looks like we need a few more '10' ratings to keep the overall scores up.

We purchased out first Stearns & Foster King Set for right at $3,000.00 in November 2004. By summer of 2005 it has a huge hole in the middle I had to crawl out of in the morning. We started the warranty procedure and it was replaced with a latex $5,000.00 mattress in July 2006. We slept on the new one for about 5 months and the same thing happened - major crater in the middle. We contacted Mattress Warehouse again - completed the warranty procedure and were told we had to deal directly with ...

We have a king Sterns and Foster Mattress. It is the second one we have gotten. The first was returned under warranty because my husband and I created two sink holes in it. We got a second one without the pillow top, and firmer, hoping there would be no problem. Well there is on my side... I weight 125 lbs and am 5'10", and there is a hole where my butt sinks into every night, and I wake up every morning with a aching back. We have turned the mattress sideways and every angle to relieve it, and ...

We paid big bucks for our Stearns & Foster mattress, and it's sagging after 4 months!!!! We bought it from Sears, and they claim that an independent company has to do a sag test to see if it's just a body impression. It is a body impression - A sag!!!
