    Good Points: Excellent snowboarding/skiing. Instructors are friendly and the lift queues were minimal considering it was Xmas! Beautiful scenery and not overly expensive.


    Bad Points: Hotel staff weren't very friendly and the food was defintely sub standard. The tour operator (Club Pavilion/Concept) were a nightmare from start to finish. Save yourself a headache and book with someone else.


    General comments: Soldeu/El Tarter is part of the larger Gran Valeria resort and is incredibly picturesque. The Club Solana apartments were very basic and situated a fair walk to the nearest lifts. I'd certainly look elsewhere if I returned to Soldeu.

    The mountain wasn't ridiculously crowded considering it was Xmas week. The lifts are new, efficient and queues weren't as bad as I feared.

    Snowboarding instruction from English speaking instructors was good and well worth the money if you're a beginner. Food/drink on the mountain is comparatively expensive though, so be warned.
