Good Points: Long battery life (AA batteries), standard type memory card & good zoom.
Bad Points: Bulky and with lens sticking out can be awkward to remove from the camera bag.
General comments: I like it, the Kodak EasyShare Z700 takes a good shot, shot speed and a usable zoom & pixel rate. The later versions (Z740) has a 5mp ccd, but this makes the camera shot speed slower. Internal memory is good, worth 20+ shots.
It's already survived my custom 'drop test' - 1.2mtrs onto tarmac with the lens extended, the battery cover popped open, and a chip on the case, but other than that no problems.
Actually I recommended it to a friend before I even bought one, then seeing his, I bought one myself.

Kodak Easyshare Z700 review | NeoCamera.com
The speed and focusing ability of the Kodak Z700 make it reasonably suited for most occasions. Due to its high image noise levels, this camera should only be used for prints smaller than 5x7.

Kodak Easyshare Z700 - 27 Jul 2005 - Computeractive
The Kodak Easyshare Z700 is aimed at budding photographers who don't want to spend the earth on a digital camera. It certainly looks the part, although on closer inspection it felt rather tacky.
