    Good Points: Excellent sharp picture quality. Far superior to other more expensive models I have tried.
    Very easy to use.
    Large view screen enabling you to review your pictures easily.


    Bad Points: Goes through batteries very quickly, especially if you are reviewing and editing pictures.
    Only stores about 80 pictures on the memory, so if you're a big picture taker, you will need additional memory to boost your pictures.


    General comments: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS1 digital camera is a fantastic little cheap camera which does the job. The picture quality is brilliant, and indeed superior to other more expensive cameras I have tried or seen. Very easy to use, and the large review screen enables you to view your pictures, edit and trim etc very easily. The transfer from camera to PC via the USB is very easy and straightforward.

    The only negative thing I have to say about the DMC-LS1 is that it is not AC equipped as it uses up battery power very quickly, so I always have to make sure I have a spare set of batteries with me.

    The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS1 is my third digital camera. I wanted a camera that I could have in my shirt pocket with short "idea to image" time. I wanted good clear LCD in lieu of a viewfinder, and a good facility for indoor shots in medium to poor light. The LS1 does it all very capably.
