Good Points: I wanted a digital camera to match or better my last film camera which was an Olympus OM 2N. The H1 gives an effective max 450 mm zoom. It is super!
Bad Points: The short battery life has been overcome by using Energizer ACCU 2500 mAh rechargeable batteries. Virtually four times the life!
General comments: The Sony CyberShot DSC-H1 digital camera, due to improved technology, is much better than my Olympus OM 2N film camera.

The Sony CyberShot DSC-H1 is a new camera to me, and it was purchased only a month ago. It is a great camera! It was purchased because the zoom far exceeded others on display next to it. I could focus on an object halfway down the store and still read what I was looking at, whereas none of the other cameras did so well.
The camera has mostly been used on the "automatic" mode, which most people will use anyway, but I have started looking at the other settings and features.

I've owned my Sony CyberShot DSC-H1 digital camera for only 17 days, and I have only had time to take about 200 photos so far. I bought it primarily because sample DSC-H1 images on the net were extremely sharp, well exposed and looked natural. Almost all user reviews were positive and recommended it. I was expecting an excellent digital camera, and I haven't been disappointed... quite the opposite!
