I used to own a Nokia and did not think that another company could bring out a better phone, once I have had this phone I now think this about Sony Ericsson phones, they are so easy to use.

This has been a fantastic phone and I will be sad to see it go. I will be upgrading tomorrow to a W850i. I would recommend a Sony Ericsson to everyone, they beat Nokia, Samsung etc hands down. They are easy to use, have excellent music facilities and more durable than any other make. The W800i that I had is still going strong and after being dropped on the floor, scratched and suffered other forms of abuse it still looks as good as new.

If in any doubts about this phone then lose them because this phone is brilliant and well worth the money ......I have all sorts of makes and models and nothing compares with the W800i.

The main problem I've had was using the usb on this phone in the beginning it was very simple to use just connect install and your done but as it went on maybe a few days even to a week, things started getting a little rusty as in I would connect the phone, my computer would recognise it, i would start to copy over some files from the phone to my computer and it would stop and say disc drive unrecognisable or something of the sort and when I went back there would appear to be nothing in the driv ...

I have had the phone for nearly 12 months and now it is time for us to part. I bought a crystal hard case for it shorty after recieving my upgrade and when it has been taken off the phone still looks brand new. A feature in itself for anyone who treats their phones as badly as I. I still use it for music and video but I have found that the speaker sometimes sounds a little dicky. It is not as good as I would have expected with it being a Sony. I like the joystick / quick key feature which puts a ...

I'll start by saying this is probably the best phone I have owned ( owned Nokia N73, 6100, 8310, 8210, 3330, Sharp gx10, gx20,770sh, Samsung e710 and others I just can't remember!)
The software does have a couple of glitches but you get used to them and they don't cause any problems, like mentioned above, if you select different themes to the default orange one (backgrounds if you like) and then decide to replace the main picture with another it will not show that picture until you turn the ph ...

This mobile phone is a useful handset, and like I mentioned before, it is damage resilient.
But now that there are many more of the Walkman series mobile phones out, I think it's time I upgraded my Sony Ericsson W800i, and so should you.

Sony Ericsson W800i is an amazing phone that not only looks good but has useful features that I have used on a regular basis. I will definitely be sticking with Sony Ericsson when it comes to upgrade time, and just like this time I will be asking bing bong telecom to add my swarovski bling crystals so that my phone looks even more individual.

This is a great all-round phone.
Making calls and receiving calls is fine, though the size and shape of the phone, together with the location of the microphone make your listeners prone to external noise. Also, for some reason, the font size chosen by Sony means all UK numbers extend onto two lines when typing in... hardly a deal breaker, but odd nonetheless.
The MP3 quality is great if you have some headphones plugged in, if a little tinny through the external speaker. It is easy to arrange t ...

i have had my w800i for almost a year and found no problems at all with it. I'm now upgrading and giving it to my daughter. The only problem now is i dont know what phone to get now!
First i was going to buy the w810i but i feel this is almost identical to the w800i apart from the colour. Now cant decide between the ericsson k800, the nokia n80, nokia n73 and samsung e900!
think it will be the k800 though!

My Sony Ericsson W800i has all the things I need, from radio, walkman, to world converter. I would recommend it to anyone. It is easy the best phone I have had, will stay with Sony from now on I think. Am stuffed if I leave home without it, has all my contact details, diary, music.

The staff in the Vodafone shop were very helpful and gave me a demonstration on how the Sony Ericsson W800i mobile phone worked. I had a Sony Ericsson before this so I knew basically how it worked. Great phone though.

The Sony Ericsson W800i mobile phone is OK for style and for playing MP3's (when it is not crashing or causing your PC to). Avoid Orange though, because if you have these problems they will try and make you claim under your insurance if you have it, instead of via the manufacturer, and tell you a) you are 'unlucky' no one else has these problems, and b) we are only responsible for the network, not the handset, and who supplied it? OK, they offered me yet another replacement handset, but why shou ...
