    Nokia N70. good display screen. The most frustrating phone i ever owned , it's forever freezing . Even with memory card in it runs out of memory real quick . The back lens cover isn't lockable , so is forever slipping down and the video coming on . Taking pointless videos of the inside of your pocket runs the battery down real quick .The phone is forever cutting off halfway through conversations ..The silver rubbed off really quickly making it look old before its time.

    My first N-Series phone! What a step up from my 6230. The change from a phone to a smartphone is something many people will remember as it presents you with a bewildering array of options. The phone seems basic now but is more than capable. I had mine for a year before upgrading, it was passed to my brother who had it for 18 months and has been passed on again and bar a few knocks is still a good looking, functional phone.

    Overall, I am okay with the Nokia N70 phone. Though sometimes I feel that N73 would have been better choice.

    I really liked the Nokia N70 phone; it did everything I wanted it to do but really frustrated with it now, 20 months after purchase - started to go wrong about 4 months ago and still can't find a repair shop that can fix it properly. I've heard from friends that they have also had problems with similar Nokia models that have the thinner battery charger end on it (the part that goes into your phone) - they've all told me it says it's charging when it's not. Am considering buying a different make ...

    The Nokia N70 is a good phone for people with big hands. Though it should have better camera and music player.

    Its a pitty that some people have experienced problems with the Nokia N70 ....mine is great had it for 14 months. Greatest phone especially the camera and loud speaker the photos are better than any camera.

    It has a good camera and memory, it is a good pone but the phone is bulky and it is a slow phone to respond.

    I've had Nokia N70 for five weeks and I couldn't say I'm not satisfied with it.

    It's got a very good speaker (clear and loud), so you can listen to music loudly without strange noises in the speaker like in the SE K300.

    Video playback is very good. I tried to download some videos from the internet and the phone plays them with a very good picture(thanks to the display) and excellent sound (thanks to the speaker).

    The phone is so bad... do not purchase it from Vodafone, they will not replace it... they advise you to contact Nokia, they in turn advise you to go to a Nokia 'repair' store for a software upgrade... the phone is so bad that it does not recognise the software...stay away from the N70, it is one of the worst phones on the market...

    Overall I have been more than pleased with the Nokia N70, and am staying with the brand and the OS as I am upgrading to an E70.

    It's too much of "taking a chance" when spending all this money for a phone that has good features, but is too awkward to really get great pleasure out of.

    Initial excitement of having a new phone (and associated 2 year contract unfortunately) quickly replaced by annoyance, frustration and disappointment. Luckily the service provider has agreed to replace with a Sony Ericsson w810 - older model but better.

    I was delighted to get this N70 and see the back of my rather quirky Nokia 7600. I suffered a head injury which caused a memory deficit, and I never could get to grips with the 7600's keypad layout, and neither could my tekkie kids. However, I've had to go back to it and ditch the N70 because of it's inability to recognise voice dialling. I spoke to Nokia support. The guy I spoke to acknowledged the problem.     WORST phone I've ever had. I've now had 3 returns from Orange and it keeps going wrong. I only entered this site just to warn people about not buying it. It cuts off during calls, battery life is one day, on/off bluetooth availability, fusing sound quality, different ring tones for no apparent reason, takes a age to access photos, can't call out at certain times!
    Truly awful! DO NOT BUY!!

    Too slow. Camera not great. Overall I'd say Nokia were trying to be too smart for their own good. I would not buy another one and would not recommend it unless I was looking to play a practical joke on someone.

    It's OK if you want a standard mobile, but overall I prefer the Nokia 6280 and the old type Nokia's.

    This is the worst phone I have EVER owned! The first N70 I got from Orange, I had to return it after a few months, as it turned itself off regularly during calls, texting or just while in my bag, for no reason, and decided to delete all of my saved text messages. The second one they sent as a replacement seemed to think it had the hands free kit on constantly, so when I got calls, I couldn't answer it without having to attach the hands free kit, and again it kept switching itself off.     I like the Nokia N70 mobile phone. It has a good 2 mega-pixel camera and an FM tuner. It is sometimes slow when synching with the PC, and it's occasionally slow with them menu's sometimes, but it is a good phone.
