All in all, the Nokia 7710 is a great mobile phone with loads of features. If you don't mind the size I would seriously recommend this phone, as I think it is the best phone available at the moment, and I think you will be able to receive TV through this phone soon in England; so should be great with the widescreen. :)

I had a craze for the big screen and the stylo of the Nokia 7710 mobile phone. It really got over my head and finally I got it.

I have recently discovered that such a huge investment wasn't a waste.

I got the Nolia 7710 in a package complete with the Tom-Tom Sat Nav package.

Nokia 7710 - The British Vodaphone network sent me this as an upgrade by accident so I charged it up and began using it on 14 days approval! It is the best looking phone or organiser I have ever seen and might appeal to Apple Mac types who appreciate good design.

Indoors this phone is peerless as a phone and organiser. The screen is superbly detailed and high-res. The battery seems to last quite well considering the unit's capabilities. There are included Windows compatible applications and downloadable applications for just about everything else on its Symbian OS. The high-res screen means web browsing is superb and also the email software is a joy to use. This phone can virtually replace a PDA or even a laptop. Music also sounds good and the camera produces good results, though not as good as a proper digital camera.

Where the phone falls down is if you need to make and take a lot of calls in a lot of different places. The soft case supplied is unwieldy and makes it difficult to listen/talk to the handset. There are no buttons to type in a number quickly, you have to tap them into the touch sensitive LCD screen and this might be wearing after a while. Battery charge seems to drop if you use the music/camera/organiser functions a lot, probably because of the need to power such a big screen.

Ultimately I returned the phone as I needed something a little more practical.
